An amazing place to stay - very large and well equipped apartments with their own sauna, and then a large indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast service was really welcome and good.  It’s a 10 minute walk into town, but if you have mobility issues the walk back uphill / with steps would be difficult. There is a great free local bus service or a taxi. Thank you Barbara and family

The setting for this place was magical - complete with a full moon at night. Our apartment was roomy with extra space which was pleasantly surprising and the facilities were great. Enjoyed our days in the sun and absorbing the wonderful scenery.

What a special place this is!  Tucked up on the hillside overlooking Ortisei, Residence Sassela is a beautiful apartment-style residence that is perfect for a vacation in the Dolomites.   We were in Ortisei for 3 days in June, and enjoyed the clean, classy 1-bedroom unit that looked out on the town and across the valley to the Sassolungo range.  
The pool, sauna, and hot tub hit the spot after long days of hiking.   
Barbara was a welcoming host who explained to us the many activity options in the area.
The Seceda and Reciesa lifts are 5 minutes from the residence, and there is a short-cut staircase that cuts off several minutes of walking to get to them.  
All in all, a great choice.  We'd return in a heartbeat.

Jewel of a residence!

Our residence is situated on a hill, in a quiet and sunny area, only 10 minutes walk from the village center. We have two rooms apartments for 2-4 persons, and three rooms apartments for 4-5 persons. We are the only residence in Ortisei with an indoor swimming pool.
