Agriturismo San Maggiore

Malcesine

This was the most beautiful week of our lives! ❤️ Agriturismo San Maggiore is an absolutely magical place – full of peace, beauty, and genuine warmth. Every morning started with breathtaking views of Lake Garda, surrounded by silence, nature, and air that smelled of forest and calm.

The hosts are truly wonderful – kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. We felt like we were visiting old friends rather than staying in a guesthouse. Breakfasts were delicious, made with love and full of local flavors.

The rooms are cozy and spotless, and the whole property feels like a little haven of serenity, immersed in nature and tranquility. Our dog Fenuś was also in heaven – he had plenty of space to explore and was treated with so much kindness.

I left this place with tears in my eyes. I couldn’t even say goodbye to our amazing host  because I knew I’d break down. That’s how much this place touched my heart.

This is the kind of place you carry in your soul long after you leave. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we truly hope to come back again and again. ❤️

pro: nice fiew, nice and quiet stay. very good breakfast
contra: you need your car to got to a restaurant for lunch & dinner. little bit annoying.

We fetched in the internet this accommodation near Malcesina.
The pros:
Breathtaking view from the room terrace, nice spacious room. The very good breakfast can be served in the breakfast room or in terrace overlooking the view.
The cons: 
•	Very dark, narrow, long drive to the place. It was a very scary experience at night, especially if you plan on visiting Malcesina and returning in the evening. 
•	There was no WIFI in the rooms, hardly in the terrace. It was OK in the breakfast room (Even though it says online that there IS Wifi).
•	The owner speaks only German and Italian, poor English.  
•	No TV channels (hardly had any Italian channels).

Good agriturismo but…

Cost 45 Euros per person per night and we think it was definitely worth it. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. There is a small pool that is the perfect place to relax. The whole property offers stunning views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains.

The only downsides are that it is located quite far out of town and up an extremely steep hill - we would never have been able to stay here if we hadn't had our car. The rooms do not have any WiFi signal and you have to sit on the terrace in order to access it, not brilliant but hardly the end of the world either. As other reviewers have noted, the owners can't speak a word of English but that didn't bother us in the slightest and they were very friendly.

We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a stay in Garda and we will almost certainly return in the future,
