Lovely little town and the hotel is nearby stores. There's also ample place for cars. Staff was friendly and was also able to accommodate the preference of a quiet room. The room itself was spacious, clean, equipped with  enough shelf space and sitting opportunities. Free WiFi which worked well and overall a very pleasant stay.

I came down from the mountains and was very tired. The receptionist was VERY friendly and took the time to  explain all the possibilities of the hotel and of Matrei. Was very helpfull with everything. 
I had to leave very early with a lot of luggage to the busstation and they offered me to bring me to the busstation. It is only 1,5 mile but for me, with my luggage, it was the world they offered me.
I can certainly recommend this hotel, friendly, good breakfast and near shops, restaurants and skilift.

As coming home

The hotel is very clean and tidy. Rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very, very kind and the food is awesome. The Location is also great, ski lift is only 200m away, supermarkets and local bus station are next to the hotel. We spent wonderful 10 days here and we sincerely recommend it to everyone to stay in this place. :)
