What a wonderful hotel. On this holiday we stayed in seven hotels and two surpassed all others and this certainly won first prize. With a special diet, a  out of the norm for medical reasons. At Kristal I had my best meals on holiday. My delicious food was individual made and all staff were aware of my needs. Super stay all round

My husband & I have visited this hotel over a dozen times in the last 20 years.
The family management make it feel more personal.
The staff will do everything they can for you.
Of course the service has changed, no afternoon tea when you come in from ski-ing however they always accommodate your needs.
If you need more pillows then you just have to ask & within half an hour they will arrive - my husband always wants more!
Of course the building is dated however it has character.
Unfortunately Brexit affected the staffing however the ones that remain are great.
Being first on the ski bus is an added bonus, it always gets busy first thing.
The hotel has a ski room, make it easy on yourself & book a locker at the lifts so you can travel in your comfortable footwear rather than your ski boots.
Returning after a tiring day is easy too as you're one of the first off the bus.
Please don't be surprised at the sauna & pool etiquette.
Many Germans travel by car to this resort & they don't have the same inhibitions.
You have to remember that in this small village most hotels are managed by a family, which my husband & I value,

Great service & value for money

What a great hotel, It is not the most modern, but it is clean and welcoming and just what we needed at the end of a day skiing.
I was travelling alone with my two boys and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly everyday. The ski shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel every 30 mins and the boot room meant we did not have to hire  a locker in the village. 
Sophia who worked in the restaurant made conversation with us every night and my boys looked forward to seeing her and asking how she folded the napkins that night.

We arrived late at night and the hotel had left food for me and the boys in the room, how thoughtful. We would not have expected that. 
The rooms were a bit dated, but everything you need.
The pool was good - the outdoor pool was closed while we were there. 
   we would love to come back here again one day.
