We loved our week long stay at this hotel. The hotel is around a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Limone so in a lovely quiet area. It is surrounded by many other hotels so you feel safe walking back late at night. 

The hotel is great value for money and there is a real family feel to the hotel - the staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is a small hotel - mainly couples and small families. 

The views from the pool and balconies are just fantastic - they blew us away. The pool is small but generally doesn’t get too busy and is very clean. As I said, the view from the pool terrace is spectacular. 

Breakfast is complimentary and there is lots of choice. The bar is well stocked and really reasonably priced. The rooms are small and basic yet spotlessly clean and well kept. 

I would absolutely recommend this hotel for your stay in Limone.

To whom it may concern and to everyone who's reading this review: this person is reporting a personal experience in an exaggerated and distorted way.
What this person is reporting about breakfast is completely false: bread is daily baked and fruit is freshly prepared and varies every morning.
I won't even mention the comment about the rooms: it seems this person has a split personality, he likes some things but at the same time he dislikes other and that's peculiar because the first thing you see on the internet when booking a hotel are the rooms' pictures. So, very weird commentary.
The "that's the way it is answer" is something me and my Staff never use. I think this person wanted to report the fact that the A.C. wasn't working and we explained that that was the situation by the time of his visit but (maybe he forgets to mention) we told him we were looking for a solution, i.e. we already got in touch with 4 different companies in order to find a technician able to fix the problem. But this is of course minor chat to report here.
The option of sleeping on the loungers has been provided as additional one since this person didn't seem to understand that we have provided him all possible solutions: a fan on the room and, fortunately, we managed to have working air conditioning at night.
Accusing other people can make someone feel better maybe when you're frustrated but we all should keep in mind that on the other side we have people who are working. "The customer is always right" is a very poor excuse that this person and his wife used several times to simply put the blame on us, without even noticing how arrogant they have been behaving while discussing with us.

The view and the location of the hotel is perfect. Breakfast was decent even if fruits and bread wasn’t daily fresh. The roms are fresh but a bit old and haven’t been renovated for decades.Customer service was awful. When we arrived to Belvedere, the air condition didn’t work and apparently that’s something that happens every year. We had 30-32 degrees at night in our room and when we mentioned it to the hotel staff we received the answer ”that’s the way it is” and if we couldn’t handle the heat then we could sleep in the sun chairs at the pool area instead. The staff didn’t even bother to come to our room to feel the heat and try to find a solution for us. 
So… if you are looking for nice located hotel in Limone and if you don’t care about good customer service or air condition, then Belvedere could be an option for you.

Nice view but bad customer service

We stayed here for three nights with our family, taking two rooms.
The view from our balcony was spectacular! 
The staff were exceptionally helpful and always friendly. They couldn’t do enough for you at breakfast time and the croissants were amazing. The hotel has taken precautions for Covid seriously and their policies seemed thorough. 
Lovely pool too.
