Highly recommended holiday accommodation ! Super nice and helpful landlady, nice room with balcony and view of valley ,  very good breakfast, free parking , free wifi, many opportunities for activities (swimming, hiking, cycling).

This is the perfect place to stay for a ski holiday, we just got back from a week with Crystal. Lovely traditional guest house run by Harry and his great team. Spotlessly clean, great shower and comfy bed after a day’s skiing, lovely breakfast every morning. Peaceful location with great views. Ski bus is easy to get to the gondola, storing skis in the heated lockers at the gondola really helps. Town is only a short walk. There are definitely posher and more expensive hotels in Soll but we would definitely go back to Sonnenhof for another great experience.

Well what more can I say than amazing, all the reviews for the stay, Harry and his team are all 100% true. I don't write many reviews but I feel this stay deserves a detailed note for future guests.

We have just returned from our first ever ski holiday (via crystal), staying in room 202 on the top floor. We arrived late on the Saturday night as our flight and transfer had both been delayed but Harry was straight out to the taxi to welcome us as we arrived! He took our suitcases inside, went through all the info we needed for the hotel, carried a case up to our room and showed us round it, making sure we were fine before he left. Couldn't have been a better welcome to the week's stay! 

Room 202 is spacious and has a balcony facing Soll town centre & the Skiwelt slopes. It has a modern en suite with shower (always had hot water), tv, storage cupboards and a small table and chairs. Everything we required for a weeks stay.

Breakfast is a continental style, fresh juice, bread, cheese's, meat, croissants, yoghurts, cereal and Harry and his team offer you a fresh egg (cooked in various styles) each morning. Perfect start to a day on the slopes. Each room has its own designated table so there's no coming down to breakfast looking for a place to sit etc. Each morning Harry was always there with a cup of English breakfast for me - absolute life saver!

The hotel does offer an evening meal on certain days, there were 4 evenings it was offered during our stay and I would honestly recommend you take up that offer each evening! The food is exceptional! especially if they are cooking the Spinach Dumplings - not something i would usually order but so so glad i did! We did not have a bad meal whilst staying there and it was better than the meal we had in the town centre. 

The hotel is situated about a 15min walk from the main Soll ski lift, you walk straight through the town centre to get to it. We did this several times throughout the week and it was a good warmup to a day on the slope. If you don't fancy the walk the ski bus stop is directly at the bottom of the hill, about 3mins walk. You walk past 3 ski hire places on the way.

We certainly will be coming back here for our next ski holiday. Harry even made us some packed lunch's when we left due to us having a really early flight. Such a nice genuine person, his English, hospitality and hotel are amazing.

Thankyou Harry for an excellent stay,  we stayed in this lovely hotel for a week skiing. A very warm and friendly welcome, lovely clean, modern well serviced rooms. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, soft towels. We had evening meal twice, tasty home cooked food, soups delicious!! Soll is a lovely resort, skiing good and the Sonnenhof a super place to stay, once again thank you.
