Sergio, Luka and the other people of the wonderful Casa Antonelli know what hospitality is and do what they can to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast very tasty (and a good variety of food) and the views from the hotel are simply amazing. The swimming pool, the warm atmosphere and the nice drinks (and refill system for water) make the stay something to remember!!!

Hospitality with a big H

We stayed at Casa Antonelli for six nights at the end of October while we were exploring the towns around Lake Garda. Service was very good, in fact I don't think there was much of a difference with the service in this hotel and some of the five star places we've been to. The hotel staff was always polite, helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and spacious enough and the view from the balcony was absolutely spectacular. The surroundings of the hotel are quiet and peaceful so there was no distractive noises from the traffic or the town of Malcesine which is located about a mile away. Breakfast was good as well with a selection which filled our needs very well. 

If you are travelling by car, this hotel is a top notch choice. Excellent value for money. 

Enjoyable stay at Malcesine

My fiancée and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of August in room 8 with lovely views of the mountains. If like us you did not hire a car and relied on public transport this place is initially hard to find- once you have your bearings its easy enough to get to other parts of Malcesine.

Hotel- beautiful location with magnificent views, if I was being picky I could say that rooms and interior could do with a splash of modernisation and AC in the rooms (fan only) but overall we were very please with the amenities. 
Breakfast- One of the best during our travels around Italy, fresh fruit, breads, cereals and coffee.
Pool- beautiful quiet area with modern loungers, exceeding expectations. 

Bikes- The hotel offer guests free use of their bikes which we took full advantage of during our stay here- the cycle down takes little peddling but the cycle back up- be prepared! its a killer hill! 

Make sure you go up to the terrace and sit there with a drink, has to be one of the most beautiful views I experienced in Italy, its a real shame the hotel don't take full advantage of this and turn it into a restaurant or bar area. That being said, keeping it for guests only is a real treat! 

Staff- absolutely superb and made our stay, they were always polite and cheery and couldn't do enough for us from printing out maps, bus timetables and offering sound advice for the area oh and even giving us a lift in the car to the bus station with our heavy suitcases. This is why I love family run hotels, they always go the extra mile!

The hotel is lovely!
You can enjoy the panoramic terrace (amazing!) a great swimming pool and twice a week a vegetarian diner.
The hotel is run by the same family since 50 years with around 15 rooms. We were with my 2 years old son and people were really nice. It is worth being known!! 

My best recommendation in Malcesine!

Perched up in the hills overlooking Lake Garda, this little 2* hotel is really worth a visit. The views are spectacular and the hotel itself comfortable and clean. Our dog was also made welcome which is a good thing to know for other animal lovers. The majority of guests are German as the owner himself is but the kitchen staff are Italian and the evening meal was delicious even though we're meat lovers and this hotel specialises in vegetarian meals! Breakfast was good. There's also a bar where we were served a very generous gin and tonic - the only "negative" point being that we had to take it up ourselves to the panoramic terrace (such hard work!!) 
On our return journey (we had been staying in Austria) we stopped on the other side of the lake in Salo but were rather disappointed and wished we had come back here instead!
