I rented the apartment 1 for one week. Great location to reach the Furi lift. Sauna and steam bath are outstanding. Large and bright living room, nicely decorated. We usually cook and enjoy the flat. Very comfortable beds and charming furnitures. . A place I recommend.

We spent a week in Casa della Vita during New Year 2017/2018. Before making the reservation I had specifically asked about the fire place, since it's important for us to be able to enjoy an open fire in the evening. On arrival to the apartment the first thing we noticed was a strong smell of smoke in the apartment. Later in the evening we tried to light a fire but the smoke came billowing into the room. I the management at Zermatt Premium Apartments to tell them about this. They told me nothing was wrong the the fire place and that I probably hadn't used it the right way. So we tried again. And again the smoke came back into the apartment which by now really smelled bad from all the smoke (all our clothes smelled too). A second time a call the management and they sent the housekeeper over, who then reported back to the management that nothing was wrong. And I got an email from them in a very patronizing tone, telling me that the owner had stayed there the week before and they hadn't had any problems, hence implying we were the problem...A third time we try with the same result; an apartment filled with smoke. So after three days we still hadn't been able to use the fire place. By now I was really upset and called the management at Zermatt "Premium" Apartments, which really didn't feel very "Premium" anymore. They finally realized that something actually was wrong and sent a technician over who immediately said that there was a part missing and that it wasn't possible to use the fire place at all. I call the management to report this and later in the evening they send the housekeeper over with a bottle of Prosecco and some Toblerone, which was a nice gesture, but the combined worth of that "compensation" was about 30 CHF for an apartment we had rented at 8.500 CHF for a week. So we didn't really consider that a reasonable compensation. I called and asked them if they could transfer us to another apartment that wasn't stinking of smoke and with a functioning fire place. But of course they couldn't. Neither would they compensate us for not being able to use the fire place, nor for having to stay in an apartment where absolutely everything stank of smoke. Instead they said that we could get 10% off our next rental with them. Which is quite frankly a joke after showing their lack of service attitude. As if we would ever rent from them again...My husband wore a shirt yesterday that had been hanging in the closet (a month after we visited Zermatt) and it still smelled of smoke.

Terrible management at Zermatt Premium Apartments

Great place to stay with your family. Apt is well designed with rooms away from dining area that let you put kids to sleep and stay up watching a movie. Apt 2 (where we stayed) has a great tv system with DVD and a bose audio system that you can use with your phone Bluetooth. Beds are comfortable and we found the apt very clean. The only issue we had was at our arrival which was supposed to be at 3pm. I would have love them to have more flexibility since we were arriving from overseas (+16 hs commute to zermatt) and we got to train station at 12pm. I called them to see if there was any chance to get in earlier and they said " yes in an hour". So we went for a quick lunch and headed to apt (though to be fair the guy told us to call him in an hour). We got there and there wAs no key in letterbox and I called again. Unfortunately there were many back and forth (and me being very upset - not a great start of vacation) and the guy showed up at 3.15pm. I think it was just an unexpected issue and I truly think that they understood us being upset and apologized.  They came by later during our stayed with a little token in return for the bad start. Still i believe it is a great apt and a good option for your family. Location for us it was an issue because it is a hard 15 min uphill walk from the chairlift to the apt that gets very complicated with ski boots. Note that for 2 francs you can lock your skies down at the chairlift so you don't need to carry it all the way up everyday. Bus is the best free option to access the apt from town or chairlift - though you have to learn the timetable so you don't miss it. Walk from apt to town is long 20 min. Overall I think it is a great option, we really enjoyed it and it is a true zermatt experience. Don't get discouraged with my comment on the delayed check in, it was a note for you to arrange clearly with them in case you are arriving earlier (to be fair again - they do not guarantee early arrival). 

Lovely apt in ok location 

My partner and I spent three days at the Casa Della Vita last week. We stayed in the apartment number 4 which is on the 2nd floor of the building. 
The flat is absolutely beautiful! The decoration is modern yet classic and suits the surrounding of the flat perfectly. There are three rooms, which are all different in size but very cozy and offer everything needed. There are two bathrooms which are very stylish and. The open kitchen is perfect for a nice evening of cooking and chatting with people in the living room. The balcony offers a breathtaking view of the Swiss pride- the Matterhorn. 
The spa area which is situated on the ground floor is very good. There is a steam room, a sauna and a whirpool. Just the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing or hiking. Just be that it takes 30 minutes till the spa is ready. 
In conclusion I have to say, that we had three amazing days in the Casa Della Vita and will definitely return. Can't think of a better apartment to stay in when visiting beautiful Zermatt.

We love the modern 2 bedder apartment on the third floor with the view of Matterhorn.  It is a short walk to town about 8 minutes and 5 minutes to one the ski lifts. It has a fully equipped kitchen with nespresso machine.  The supermarket is about 8 minutes walk from the apartment.  It is quaint and quiet and we are really glad we did not stay at the main town area.

The Casa della Vita is located in the very popular Winkelmatten area on a quiet spot. The house was built in 2010 and offers luxurious living in the middle of the breathtaking mountains of Zermatt. Within a short 5 minutes’ walk you can reach the nearest grocery store and the bus stop and within 10 minutes you are at the bottom station of the Matterhorn Express which is the main cable car to the skiing area, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and the summer hiking trails. It takes a 15 minutes’ walk to get to the town centre with its wide selection of bars, shops and restaurants.In the common rooms of the house you’ll find an outstandingly equipped wellness area with sauna, whirlpool and hamam (steam room) as well as a storage room for your skis with a ski boot dryer. There is an elevator taking you from the ground floor to your apartment. The house can be reached either by electric cabs or by public bus (direction Winkelmatten).All apartments are non smoking apartments
