As mentioned in the other reviews the view from this B&B on Bardolino and Lake Garda is magnificent, especially from the exclusive room with its own terrace. Rooms and interiors are a very little dated. Breakfast is great with a big choice of homemade stuff - better than in many hotels. Staff was always very friendly and supportive.

We recently enjoyed four nights at Casaliva, which served as a convenient base for exploring the area. Our room was fine, if nothing extraordinary--and this American and her pampered neck will never get used to the flat pillows offered at every Italian accommodation visited--and it was a little too cool during our late October visit to properly enjoy the garden view from our private patio, to say nothing of the lovely-looking pool and hot tub. Breakfast was excellent and very satisfying, with many delicious cold options, meats, cheeses, and pastries, as well as cooked-to-order eggs on offer. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful; we shared a decent secondary knowledge of German, so communication was not much of a problem.
