This small chalet is situated perfectly close to the slopes and less than 100m from La Stua, the prime apres ski spot. Every room has a little sauna which was great and the new welness area is fantastic. Breakfast is quite a spread with a selection of fruits, cereal, yoghurt, bread, meats, cheeses, your choice of cooked eggs and some sweets. Sabine is the perfect host and helped with dinner reservations and advice around ski- and walking options. I can’t imagine a better stay in Selva. We felt very sad to leave and will definitely return.

Chalet Elisabeth is superb. We have stayed for a week of skiing two years in a row and are already planning our third trip. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast spread is diverse and very high quality. The location is unbeatable- directly on the sellaronda and walking distance to any apres activity (many bars, shops, restaurants). The new wellness center with gym, sauna, soaking pool, etc.. is spectacular - we had it to ourselves most evenings, must try a post sauna lay down in the hay room. But what makes Chalet Elisabeth stand out is Sabine. She was there to advise us on ski plans during breakfast for the overwhelmingly huge dolomiti superski, make dinner reservations for two pretty demanding diners (every place she booked was amazing), and generally assist/advise on anything we needed. It’s like staying with family but better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for low key bespoke luxury experience. A true boutique hotel.

Literally the best!

In October, 2021, we stayed at Garni Chalet Elisabeth.  Sabine and her family are perfect hosts - friendly, truly interested in your comfort, and enjoyable to visit with.
The interior of this small hotel is  modern, with beautiful, sleek natural wood throughout.  There is a wide selection of breads, fruits, cheeses, and cereals for breakfast, with the option of cooked eggs if desired.  Our room on the second floor was spacious and included a balcony looking up to the mountains pass.  The bathroom was also large and quite modern.   During our month in the Dolomites, the days in Selva were the only rainy days.  However, that helped us slow down and enjoy local indoor sites.  It also meant that we were able to chat longer in the mornings with Sabine.  We learned much from her about the people in Val Gardena, especially about Ladine culture.  Travel is more than sightseeing; having time with local people greatly enriches  the visit.  We will definitely return to Garni Chalet Elisabeth on our next trip to the Dolomites.

Wonderful four days at Garni Chalet Elisabeth

We stayed in Chalet Elisabeth , 10 days, first half of March. It was just perfect, couldn't be any better than what we experienced. The apartment was super clean,  comfortable, best bed and linen.  The interior made of fir wood / pine tree is something unique,  with a permanent pleasant smell and feel. The chalet is just by the slopes ( green & orange Sella Ronda) , easy ski-in and ski-out. It's also near everything,  apres ski, restaurants,  ski rentals.
  Sabine and her family,  are the perfect hosts, they are putting  a tremendous effort in order for the guests to feel special and enjoy the stay at maximum. 
  Not last , sauna , jacuzzi and aromatherapy mini-chalet are spectacular as they are like in a fairytale environment. 
   Thank you for everything,  Sabine , we will definitely be back soon !

Natural materials are the most important feature of our Chalet. All our guestrooms and bathrooms have been newly refurbished and enlarged; big panoramic windows open up on the wonderful world of the Dolomites, massive woods bring the alpine character, stone the solidity, loden-cloth and wool the warmth. Stone pine and larch wood from the forests of the Dolomites and local handicraft have been essential. And, well..... the private sauna in your room makes your eventful day in the Dolomites just perfect.

The reception area has also been enlarged, a spacious ski and bike room, the dining room and the cosy „Stubele“ offer a breathtaking view on the majestic scenery of the Sella Massive.
