An excellent small hotel. Although useable as a double my room was small but because I was alone it was large enough for my needs. Unusually for a ski hotel there was a very good single use price. It was very clean, with friendly staff and cannot fault the service. I was on half-board and the meals were good. It has a friendly, busy bar. It was 400m to the free ski lift to the Peisey Plan, part of the Paradiski ski area.

Just come back from a short ski trip staying at La Tarine - perfect base. Cosy room, straightforward french cuisine including local specialities. Celine the owner couldn’t do more for you. The hotel is a short walk from the small bucket lift which connects you to a chair lift in Plan Peisey taking you to Les Arcs and the Vanoise Express taking you to La Plagne so it couldn’t be better situated between the two resorts. The village is quiet with a small supermarket and an amazing cheese shop just over the road!

First time here although skied in les arcs/peisey before. In quiet village 5 mins telecabine from vanoise express. Family owners super helpful, staff very friendly. All well managed and stress-free despite busiest week of year (French and English holidays). breakfast great and the hotel restaurant was ideal and well priced. Couldn’t have asked for more other than to eat less! Convenient for both les arcs and la plagne skiing. Will hopefully return and recommend to friends.

Celine who runs this little hotel together with her husband goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The place is good to base yourself if you with to ski in Les Arcs and Paradski as it sits between the 2 resorts. There is small lift going up to Vallandry which is the next bigger town from where you access the 2 mountains I just mentioned. Apart from that there is a supermarket near the hotel as well as an Intersport for ski rental. Again, speak to Celine as she gets you a discount of 20% off your hire at the Intersport in town. Apart form that there is no other restaurant near the hotel. You will need a car to access Vallandry which has more options. If you are looking to party - this is not the town. It is very quiet but we liked that after long days of skiing. Make sure to tell Celine in advance that you need ski passes - she gets them at a discounted rate for you and you can collect at reception = no queuing at the lifts. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast has everything you need incl. eggs, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, breads, croissants, jams, cereals etc. The place also has a restaurant attached. It is basic but it is delicious and Celine and the team ensure you have an enjoyable evening.

Attending a wedding where there were no spare rooms in chalets this hotel was recommended. Drove from Bristol straight there..easy to find and a car park. Friendly staff had a compact room to rear but clean and tidy..too hot for me but better that way than the other turned rad down! Food in restaurant is not art on a plate and the bar was used by locals and guests but all fine. Excellent breakfast. The bed so comfortable that after two days skiing i managed to miss two events by falling asleep! I have stayed in places with more stars and less service. I wouldnt hesitate to contact Celine to rebook if i was heading back in that direction again

Family hotel, refurbished in 2011, located in Peisey village. We are join by a ski lift at just 200 meters from the hotel to the Paradiski ski area on Les Arcs side and at the entrance of the Vanoise National parc.We offer stay in B&B, half pension or full pension. You can find 20 ensuite rooms, restaurant, lounge, bar with pool table and ski room with a shoes warmer. Free wifi access in the hotel.During the winter, we have a parking, in summer, it's a terrace.
