geschmäcker sind verschieden, ebenso die weichheit der matratzen - oder der style der zimmer die jedes für sich unterschiedlich, von verschiedenen einrichtungshäsuern ausgestattet, eingerichtet wurden. wir versuchen ein mittelmaß für die gäste anzubieten . es ist ein stimmiges, durchdachtes gesamtkonzept - ein unvergleichbares hotel mitten im zentrum und absolut unkompliziert von der buchung bis zur abreise. mittels self- check-in und keybox ist der gast unabhängig und kann seine reise von zuhause ideal online planen und von dort aus schon genießen. check-in dauert nicht länger als 3minuten - ebenso unkomplizierter check-out. wir bieten verschiedene zimmerkategorien und servieren zudem ab 8h auch für die balkonzimmer das frühstück vor die tür - wir haben uns dazu eine süße frühstücksbox für 2 personen ausgedacht - sohin können sie im bademantel am balkon oder auch das frühstück im bett genießen. die nespressomaschine steht jederzeit bereit cafekapseln und tee werden täglich nachgefüllt - wir bemühen uns eine originelle frühstücksbox mit selbstgemachter marmelade, bioprodukten, semmerl und croissants, kornspitz usw. anzubieten. die frühstücksbox ist pro person kalkuliert -- siehe dazu auch die photos auf unserer homepage dashotelstern- wir haben uns für die frühstücksbox entschieden, um insofern einen beitrag auch für die umwelt liefern zu können, daß wir ein zuviel und übergelassenes nicht in den müll werfen müssen - für besondere wünsche für das frühstück haben wir aber immer ein ohr - sie müssen es uns nur mitteilen
die klassifizierung wird rechtens von einer kommission der WKO durchgeführt und wurde auch 2022 aktuell als 3sterne hotel löblich kategorisiert - wie die jahrzehnte zuvor und künftig auch. in diesem sinne freuen wir uns immer wieder, gäste aus der ganzen welt bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen

Peculiar place, a  bit too much of everything. The place is cozy but totally cluttered. No visible style. „Less is more“ does not seem to be a topic here. You can hardly walk in the tiny room.
The bathroom is pink, totally pink. It would have probably pleaded some 4-6 year old girls but a hotel room?
There is literally almost bo light in the bathroom - like a dark pink boudoir.
The whole interior is questionable. Every room is different, which is a nice idea. 
But it’s neither modern nor classy nor Alpine chick. Looks more like an IKEA warehouse. Just stuff scrambled together.
You want to relax and get up late? This is not for you. There are no blinds to darken the room. Very thin beige curtains which do not prevent from daylight. Six o‘clock in the morning the room is in bright light
From Six o‘clock in the morning (also on Sundays) the church bell tolls every quarter of the hour 1 - 4 times plus  the full hour. 7 o‘clock the bell chimes 11 ! times very close to your ear.
There is no sleep after 6am!
The beds: well two mattresses which create a huge gap in between, one always falls into.

Youth hostel type of accommodation, rooms look like those of  teenagers who decorate their rooms with lots of IKEA stuff

Lovely nice spacious room with bath. Breakfast also very good. Only stayed one night but enjoyed it. 

Those town bells though! No chance of a lie in 😂 Saint Gilgen is a lovely wee town. It was a nice place to stop on our journey.

Wow. We were so tentative and fairly apprehensive when we booked and saw reviews on Google and trip advisor. Please, whatever you do, ignore the negative reviews. This place is brilliant. It's so unique and quirky. We're used to staying in your big chains, i.e. Plaza, Hilton, Whardorf etc. This place is full of character. So personnel, and the host was simply lovely. she was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was awesome too. 

You even have snuggly dressing gowns in the wardrobe for winter, really nice touch. We'll certainly be returning and are upset we only booked 1 night in this brilliant place. Thank you so much!!

Ignore the bad reviews, this place is brilliant.
