A good choice for short stay , clean rooms and bathrooms ,organized settings , very welcoming staff. The hotel is on the top location pretty much everything is easily accessible yet quiet and calm . In short ,a good stay .

The lady at reception saved my life.
We arrived on a hot and sunny monday after a long trip. Unfortunatelly I had made a mistake during reservation on booking.com (I had choosen a wrong day). After the compliance the lady solved our "tiny" problem and ensured the requested rooms.
We havent found free parking lots for our motorbikes so we could use the hotel private parking. Thanks a lot for this kindness.

Perfect and live-saver

We stayed a week at the Hotel Silvestro, it was our second visit and we chose to stay here again because of location and price.
It is a short walk from the bus station and the check-in is at the Hotel Benaco just across the road from the Hotel Silvestro. The staff are really friendly and offer a welcome drink.
Our room in the Hotel Silvestro was on the first floor and a good size, a fridge in the room is a bonus.There is also a safe in the room , air conditioning was  welcome ( it was hot in June) and we had a good wifi connection. We had no view but that did not bother us as we did not intend to spend a lot of time in our room.
There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, toiletries are supplied including toothbrushes and tiny tubes of toothpaste ( just in case you forget yours). 
The room was cleaned everyday.
Breakfast was the usual continental fare of sweet things and cold meats and cheese. Coffee is from a machine and usually I find machine coffee undrinkable but the cappuccino from the machine at Hotel Silvestro was so good that I would have two cups.
As stated location is good, turn right as you come out of the hotel and you are in the lovely little Via St. Giovanni, a busy street with restaurants cafes and shops. Turn left and just around the corner you are on the lakeside, again a great area with lots of restaurants and cafes.

We stayed for 2 nights and we love it here. We have been here several times the staff are always friendly and cannot do enough for you. The location is just in the right spot for everything and there is parking if required. 
The rooms are always clean and tidy and th room was airy, If WIFI is required its there although you never have time to use it as there is too much to do in Garda. There is plenty for breakfast. 
We are looking forwards to our next trip.

2 days Off

Stayed at the Hotel Silvestro for a week and for the whole of the time it was an excellent experience.  The welcome glass of Prosecco together with the enthusiasm experienced from all of the staff made a pleasant change from staying in the big chain hotels. Breakfast was typically Continental but plentiful.  We ate once in the hotel at night which was extremely pleasant with a large choice.  I had Turbot and my husband has Venison with a blueberry sauce.  Both were delicious.  We would have eaten there more but much of our time was spent exploring Lake Garda.  Please note the restaurant is closed on Wednesday.  The hotel is situated within a minute or so from the Lake and very convenient.  It’s about 3 minutes walk from the bus station straight up the main road.  There was a free pass to a local sports complex with indoor and outdoor pools, with a free local shuttle.  We went one day and really enjoyed ourselves.  Would recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation staying again
