A wonderfull little hotel in Courmayeur. The pictures don't do it justice. Francesca and the rest of the team were so nice & helpful. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the food was delicious! We've already recommended it to friends & family.

The ancient Glareys’ house stands in a quaint part of the incomparable valley of Courmayeur, at the foot of the Mont Blanc range. During the years, the building has been transformed from a traditional house - where our ancestors used to spend a simple and hard life - into a comfortable hotel. Hotel Des Glaciers has been run by the Pennard family since 1985 and it still maintains a traditional Aosta Valley atmosphere giving you an insight into the daily life of a by-gone age, from the XVII century to our days.Hotel Des Glaciers (altitude: 1.224 metres a.s.l.) is 250 metres far from the new Dolonne cable car (5 minutes on foot), 250 metres from the Forum Sport Centre and only 800 metres from Courmayeur city centre (10 minutes on foot).The picture windows of the restaurant look out over the Courmayeur valley, dominated by impressive peaks like Dente Del Gigante and Grandes Jorasses.Our Restaurant is also open to outside Guests. It provides half hoard (if requested, we offer lunch as well) with innovative recipes and the typical cuisine of the Aosta Valley. Our well-stocked wine cellar allows guests to choose from a selection of regional wines, perfectly matching with the meals.The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice of homemade cakes and biscuits, croissants, jams, yogurts, cereals, stewed fruit and juices.Hotel Des Glaciers has 17 rooms, all with en suite bathroom (with shower or bath) and equipped with telephone, colour LCD TV, mini bar, safe and hairdryer.A free wifi connection is available throughout the hotel.Hotel Des Glaciers offers its Guests: a bar; a nice garden with solarium and with a well-equipped play area for children where you can enjoy your time in a unique environment; free indoor and outdoor parking; a small museum gathering items collected by the owner’s father, ex alpine guide; a beautiful tavern decorated in a traditional alpine style with a fireplace and television where you can relax drinking a good hot chocolate, a tasteful cocktail or a “grolla dell’amicizia”.Thanks to its central location, all services are very close: the new cable car, the Fun Park, the slope taking back to Dolonne, the Forum Sport Centre, the “Courmaclub” disco and the sports shops. Hotel Des Glaciers is co-operating with Pré-Saint-Didier (6 km far from our Hotel) and Saint Vincent (60 km far from our Hotel) Spas in order to offer you hours of relax at a favourable rate.
