Clean, comfortable and spacious with a direct bus running regularly to and from the slopes and town. A must if you love to self cater, however the management could learn some prescious communication skills.

Epic valley views.

Stayed there march 18th for 1 week . The apartment was excellent on the ground floor opposite from reception and ski shop .The SPA and gym / Pool were all modern and great quality with these great big picture windows revealing the magnificent views of the mountains .The car parking was inside under reception and it had 10 floors to negotiate to get out when using the car !! which you will need if you fancy a beer in flaine at night as the free shuttle bus to the forum or the floret area of flaine stops running at 6:30 PM and its way to far to walk back as we did it one night and it took 40 mins !!  .Access to the Ski runs is from a green run about 30 mtrs from the bus stop but on reaching the 1st ski lift which you will need to get access to flaine in order to  purchase your Ski pass you will be met by a KGB officer who refuses swipe you on to the lift  and seems to get great pleasure in telling you to walk about 350 mtrs in ski boots carrying skis

I could choose anywhere in the world to choose a favourite skiing resort, but I choose Flaine. It has very nice apartments and two chalets there. There is a pool, a restaurant and I am certain there has NEVER been a problem with the people there and NEVER a complaint. The service is amazing. Had really good slopes too!

Amazing Place, I totally recommend you go there. You have apartments and two chalets. Brilliant views all around you. There is a well sized pool and its not very cold at all. The bus ride is very quick to the resort and also, its the first stop so you can get a seat. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very good sizes. On both the chalets, and apartments both all have balconies. If you go there, make sure to have lots of fun!!!

Stayed for two nights before moving into Flaine proper.

Self catered one bed for family of four - worked for us

Onsite bar/restaurant is good.

Staff were friendly and helpful

Spa/Pool a bonus - although pool is tiny and cold. 

Intermittent wifi.

Over all we liked this place but there were some things that didn't tick the boxes for us.

Beds were uncomfortable.
No oven in the kitchen was a definite minus and had we stayed longer than two nights would have been a major negative.

We got a last minute deal for our stay at Easter which cushioned the blow - but had we booked a week then at the advertised price I wouldn't have been happy.

Tripadvisor rating system doesn't work for me in this case : it's not "Average" ( three stars ) and it's not "Very Good" ( four)  -somewhere in between , but I'll mark it three as compared with places I've give four stars to in the past it isn't in the same league.
