The hotel is actually 2 different buildings one is next to the other.  The dining room is in the main building .  (Usually it’s a sushi restaurant).  The staff is friendly.  Rooms are simple, but spacious and can host a 4 people easily.  There’s a free parking.  No air conditioning.  In the summer if you’ll open the windows you might have a mosquito problem!
If you want to enjoy free attractions- make sure to get the villars free access card that allows you to access free of charge to many attractions around. I did the scooter ride down the mountain...

Spent a couple of nights in this family run hotel. It is clean and all the staff were friendly. I had a large room with balcony and kitchen.
The decor is a bit dated but nothing you could really criticise. No tea or coffee making facilities, which is the norm for a lot of Swiss hotels, but there was no bar or vending machines or communal area which is a shame.
Breakfast was ok, although they were still setting it up when I arrived, which was after the opening time. 

Reception is not manned 24 hours and I had to go looking for someone to check me out.

Location is good and the main attractions area walkable.

We had 5 nights in this lovely hotel, well situated for all amenities and bus/trains. Staff were all highly efficient, very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was more than adequate, in a pleasant breakfast room.

Don’t expect high-class accommodations, but this place offers everything real people need; cleanliness, friendliness and acceptable rates. Plus, it has a fine Japanese restaurant that serves delicious Sushi and great tasting traditional cuisine.
