We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eden in Saas-Grund, which truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome, and it was clear that this family-run hotel takes great pride in looking after its guests.

The recently renovated restaurant and breakfast area are bright and inviting, and the modern ski storage and boot-drying room is simply excellent, with convenient separate side door access. 

Getting there was easy thanks to the bus connection from Visp train station, and the location is ideal — perfect for the local slopes within Saas Grund, and with regular buses to Saas-Fee taking about 5-10 mins. The area is quiet, quaint, and relaxing. Ski hire stores, a few coffee places and a mini supermarket are available within walking distance. 

Our room was clean and functional, with a spotless bathroom, very comfortable beds, and cozy duvets and bed sheets. Each evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner served at 6:30 pm, by the very friendly hosts, and the breakfast buffet was of great quality with plenty of choice.

The only small recommendations would be that the guest rooms could feel a little more modern, as some of the décor such as carpets and curtains felt slightly tired. Some new, big fluffy towels would also be a really nice addition! These are only minor points, however, in what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

Overall, Hotel Eden offers excellent value, combines comfort with genuine hospitality, and is in a good location. We would absolutely recommend it and would happily return.

The hotel was really good. The room and bathroom weren't that big, but clean and comfortable. The shower was perfect! Just like the beds. We had diner inclusive, vegetarian. A big compliment for the cook, we had a lot of variaty. After diner they come around to ask if you would like some more. Breakfast was ok. I missed a bit more brown bread, that was not enough for all the guests during breakfast time. The family who runs the hotel are really kind and willing to do a lot for their guests. I would return without any doubt!
