Since I cannot reply to the hotel owner’s response to my negative review of the hotel, I will write a new one. Every single point I mentioned is exactly as I described it; I don’t know what more appropriate expressions you would expect to satisfy you. Perhaps you were offended because I was simply honest, but that is your problem.
I come from a tourist region and have some understanding of how things in tourism and hospitality should function, in my opinion, for the overall experience to be at a certain level—which, in my view, is quite low in your case. It is not true that all staff speak English, let alone fluently (don’t make me laugh). During check-in, when I asked when breakfast and dinner were, the woman at reception could not utter two sentences in English and instead wrote it down on paper for me.
As for the temperature, I clearly and explicitly wrote that I was referring to the temperature in the lobby and the restaurant, not in the rooms (please read more carefully). Regarding breakfast, I could not have been clearer than I was. It is beyond all reason to offer guests the same salami and the same cheese for breakfast for six consecutive days, and in portions so small that after three guests before you take breakfast, you have to wait for the waitress to bring more (as if it were difficult to put out a larger platter so everyone can be served without waiting).
Instead of accepting criticism and trying to improve something, you send me a reply telling me to choose more appropriate words. Very smart indeed. I will certainly not be coming to your hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
