First and foremost, it's important to recognize that reviews should be based on accurate information. Making false claims, such as those presented in your review, can severely damage the reputation of hard-working staff who are simply doing their jobs. All our guests are informed that the sauna can be booked in advance to ensure that it’s ready when needed. We stand by our staff’s actions, as they were following the standard procedure, which includes the booking requirement for sauna use. Regarding your comments about the staff, we have reviewed the situation and would like to emphasize that our team has received high ratings, with a 10/10 score on Booking.com and a 5-star rating on Google. These reviews reflect the commitment and professionalism our staff brings to every guest experience. We understand that sometimes misunderstandings happen, but we do not condone any behavior that would lead to an uncomfortable situation. Additionally, we were unfortunately expecting this review, as you had previously threatened our team with leaving a negative one. While we are always open to making exceptions or accommodating our guests, it is difficult to do so when we are met with threats and disrespect. Moving forward, we want to make it clear that we cannot accept guests who threaten our staff with bad reviews. Everything was great until an incident caused by rude staff. The rules of the house said the sauna was open until 19:30 with 20 minutes' notice, but at 18:40, staff refused to turn it on claiming I should have called in advance (not mentioned in the rules of the house). On top of that I was yelled at by this lady "So you don’t have a phone?!" and "I will not discuss it with you!" while blaming electricity costs to turn on the sauna. On top of that, another staff person (man) made rude and disrespectful comments in Slovak, not realizing I understood. After this, I no longer felt welcome. Very disappointing. I recommend to choose other available locations in the area if you want to be treated fairly.

I stayed here 3 nights. Arrived the first night late and got a message on forehand that the key would be available in the reception. That was indeed the case with a nice welcome letter. Room was big enough with a rather small bathroom and small shower. No bathing-gel available, only handwash liquid. Bed was ok although a bit small. Luckily I was alone so I could lie diagonal in the bed. So, if you are taller than 1m85 you have to have your feet over the edge. 
Breakfast is good, plenty of choice. It starts at 07:30 so in time to hit the slopes early. The tables are a bit low so your knees hit the table. Again for tall people an issue.
I needed their support because I lost my phone, but that support was given with little enthusiasm. I asked to make use of a pc so I could try to trace my phone via the Google account. After asking twice and been told to come back later every time I was finally given an old and slow pc with Czech language, while there was a (probably faster) laptop hooked up.

We have a lovely break in Hintertux and had a lovely stay in the Pension Christina.  Stanno the host was very welcoming and the room very comfortable with amazing views of the glacier.  The breakfast was fantastic and a very good start to the day.

The stay was peaceful with the sounds of a cockerel and cow bells being the relaxing sounds of the mountain, totally stress free and a welcome way to unwind.

Excellent location: serene, fresh air. A little walk to the bus stop. Tasty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with a big terrace. Amazing glacier view and surrounding nature. Ski and hiking area access.
