Garni Larix

Colfosco

We stayed in Larix at the and of January 2019. The place is nicely renovated and still has a scent of fresh wood. Room was comfortably large with floor-to-celling windows, large balcony and view (corner room in 1st floor). There was enough closet space, no water heater for tea and Italian TV programs only. The building has great soundproofing - although it is set next to the main road, there was no noise intrusion from the outside (or from the inside). The breakfast is excellent, especially tasteful salami, eggs and sweets. Spa area has three small saunas and six relaxing chairs. It didn't get crowded. The hosts are nice, non-intrusive and efficiently helpful. The building is a couple of minute walk from the ski slopes. Recommended and we will stay there again.

  

Cozy and spacious with good breakfast

Me and my family stayed here for 4 nights as we were skiing in the Alta Badia region. The hotel is a short walk from the slopes, ski rental and local supermarket which is very convenient. The hotel was newly refurbished in 2016 so everything inside is very modern and updated. The decor of the rooms is very cosy and warm. The breakfast buffet is contential and has a variety of food to give you energy for the day. There is a bootroom and a ski/snowboard holding place in the hotel which are both locked safely.  I would love to come back here, hopefully next time there will be more snow though!

Perfect ski hotel

This place is fantastic. We loved it. Totally exceeded our expectations. Fully renovated, beautiful, modern and comfortable. Really big, warm rooms and a great bathroom. Our room had fabulous views and a big balcony. Paula is a particularly great, personable host - you get awesome personal service here. The B&B is a little bit of a walk from the ski slopes which might be annoying with skis, but if you use Posch ski hire they let you leave the gear there - problem solved! Breakfast is simple but nice. Bring your own toiletries. Also, Black Hill pizza across the road serves the best pizza in the area!
