Really great place to stay. Easy parking, and the apartment (or rooms) have everything you need. The apartment bookings can include breakfast which is great for us as we don't like to shop for breakfast. Location is great, just a 10 min walk in to the centre of town, and there is secure bike storage, with a large garden and balconies.

We booked an apartment in this hotel / guesthouse for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. Roland and his mother were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was spacious and clean. Everything you need was there, except an oven, but we ate mostly out anyway. Our apartment was on the end of the building upstairs and we had a balcony on each side of the building. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and typical for this area. Plenty of choices for every taste. Storage for bicycles is available, with option to charge e-bikes. Location is very close to outdoor areas and a short walk to the village center as well.

1 Nacht für die Durchreise buchen, dann nicht Anreisen und die Anzahlung zurück haben wollen.
Dieser Gast sollte sich überlegen, dass es nicht selbstverständlich ist in der Hochsaison ein Zimmer für 1 Nacht zu bekommen und dann noch die Dreistigkeit zu besitzen eine schlechte Bewertung zu schreiben.

Owner response

On the day of arrival I called the owner to say that I wanted to cancel the reservation. The owner said he would return the amount I already paid (which was the full amount) if he could rent to room to somebody else. That sounded more than fair to me. Before I called the owner, I looked on booking.com. The guesthouse was fully booked. One minute after I called the owner for the cancellation, booking.com said "1 room available". Again 1,5 hours later booking.com said "fully booked". It's clear the room was booked. However a day later I got a mail from the owner where he said the room wasn't booked. Yeah right.
