What a wonderful New Years week we had at the Gasthof Piburger. The family that owns and runs this lovely hotel is just so caring and made us feel right at home. The Chef and his lovely wife own the hotel and restaurant which has been in the family for over 80 years. The family were so warm and welcoming, we never wanted to leave. We wanted to thank Francesca and her lovely sister ( nieces of the owners) for their amazing service and for being so kind to us while there. Never felt so welcome! Thank you all for such an amazing holiday. Customer service is really important to us and this lovely cozy hotel is just perfect. Great for couples and families.

We very much enjoyed our visit and the Plattner family's kindness and friendliness. The breakfast room was cute and the traditional breakfast was good. We also enjoyed eating dinner here. The mountain views from the balcony were pretty and peaceful. Free parking and WIFI. 
    Take the time to walk around the lake which is a short walk away.

Friendly, family run guesthouse with good breakfast and restaurant with outside dining

A lovely guesthouse, run by very friendly and helpful hosts, set in a stunning location. Difficult to add anymore. Our room was on the front of the property with a lovely balcony, fantastic views, we were self catering and the room was more than adequate. A large room with excellent facilities. The meal we had at the guesthouse was excellent, plentiful and very good value. We were the only ones at the property for most of our stay and nothing was too much trouble. A very short walk to the beautiful lake, and surrounding stunning scenery. Lots of hiking trails from the property and a very short car drive to the local town and all of its amenities. All in all, a highly recommended guesthouse.

Excellent guesthouse

A small and very friendly hotel, traditionally and warmly decorated. We took the half-board deal - the food and the service were excellent. It is located 5 minutes walking from a lovely lake. The price considering the food was perfectly acceptable at about 100 euro's/day. Room was smallish, but nice balcony with some great views of the mountains - we were in room 9. Good area for enjoying the water sport activities.
The staff were all fantastic - approachable,very friendly, good information when asked, nothing was too much trouble for them.
