Excellent customer focused hotel.. Ski in and out via button lift.  3 minute walk to the Gondola.  Ski shop in the hotel. Marvellous food.  Staff brilliant.  Highly recommended.

This is the standard!

This was our second year in a row staying at the Haus Gurgle ski hotel with family and friends. We  were a large group of 18 and Erich & team couldn’t have done enough for us. It was such a great experience, I’m reluctant to go anywhere else! From start to finish, I only have good things to say about this hotel, superb location, spotlessly clean, fabulous modern boutique vibe yet family friendly. The food was second to none, delicious and the staff all super friendly. Ski hire conveniently located right next to the hotel and the spacious warm clean boot room is amongst the nicest I’ve ever seen. Thank you to Erich and the team for another fabulous and memorable year. We’ll be back!

A lovely hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The welcome we had and the super efficient service was excellent. 
We would have liked a sitting area in our room but it was a standard room. We will be returning. Exceptional value for money. 
The dining room was quite noisy due to children who didn’t have a volume control and their parents who didn’t care to use it either, so the staff were very kind in finding us a quieter area for our meals. 
The best boot room we have ever had. 
Excellent situation near the lifts and the ski bus.

This is the first time we stayed here and the positive reviews are well deserved.

For a ski hotel it ticks all the boxes
Cosy room with lots of storage, comfy bed, bathroom with a bath, balcony, excellent breakfast with lots of choice, good choice for dinner and an excellent standard of food. The boot room was good, you had your own locker for your room and it could easily accommodate 4 sets of skis and boots.

We travelled with Crystal Ski and our ski hire shop was directly connected to the hotel, this couldn’t be better.

The spa was great, just what you need after a day on the. Steam room and saunas only.

This hotel was great, very clean and well decorated. 

We will definitely return as we have had a fantastic week.

The hotel was in a good location for the slopes. We mostly took the ski bus to Hochgurgl where we preferred the skiing. The Red 12 slope was tricky for my wife so we didn’t use the Top Express but with the ski bus stop just outside the hotel and a few minutes ride in the the bus to the gondola to Hochgurgl  we felt this was a better choice.

Reopening Winter 2014/2015Having inspired its guests for more than 20 years as a charming B&B, Haus Gurgl will reopen from November 2014 as a standard ski hotel offering unforgettable skiing holidays.Our family-run hotel with a capacity for up to 70 guests is located right in the heart of the Ötztal Alps, at the entrance of Obergurgl which in turn is situated in the picturesque Obergurgl-Hochgurgl skiing and hiking region. Featuring 110 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes serviced by a state-of-the-art lift system, the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort is considered to be one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in the Alps. Our hotel is located only 100 metres from the ski lifts in the centre of town and your last run will even take you right back to our hotel.With the hotel located right at the bottom of the ski resort’s final descent, all you need to do after a long day on the pistes is to unstrap your skis or board and put them in our heated storage room which is right in front of you.
