Very nice accommodation, we love it here! Everything is clean, cosy and sufficiently equipped in the apartment. We booked the 4 pers apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. WiFi was also very good, always had a very good connection! Supermarket was nearby and pubs and restaurants. The accommodation is 1km from the main ski station so you have a direct entry to the main ski resort nearby. The host family Anne and Bart are so friendly and they will give you immediately a good feeling. This makes it the ideal combination for your ski vacation!

We had the best family holiday ever. Haus Wasserbauer is clean and has everything a family needs. Vicky cannot do enough for you. She is a fantastic host with a wealth of local knowledge. The area has lots to do for families and is absolutely beautiful. Our holiday proved Austria is not just for ski season but also fabulous for summer holidays as well. We will definitely return!

Can't rate this place enough! I visited for our first family ski holiday with my wife and 3 boys (5,3 & 1 yrs old).  Unsure as to whether or not they'd all enjoy skiing, hosts Duncan  and Vikki told us we didn't need to book ski school, hire, passes etc.. and that we could do it day by day when we arrived.  Duncan working at the local ski school was clearly very knowledgeable and helpful.  Turns out we all had a cracking time skiing daily, tobogganing, going to spa's, eating out, walking etc. In short we couldn’t have had a better holiday and of course the hosts were amazing!!  Great value too.  We’ll be back!!

Great accommodation, location, skiing and lots to do!

Vicky and Duncan gave us a very warm welcome and were the perfect host throughout the stay, always on hand if you had a question ! The apartment was beautifully warm, with comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. The house is in the perfect location, very close to the slopes and within walking distance of some fab restaurants. Duncan is a fantastic ski instructor and several of our group gained lots of knowledge from his expertise. We can't wait to return !

Firstly the bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and plenty of hot water at all hours.  It was perfectly clean and is of lovely decor.
It is in a great position for getting to the ski shop, the ski bus is only a short walk away.
There are also plenty of restaurants and bars close at hand.  But it is was nice and quiet from our apartment.

In the winter we have 150km of tree lined pistes located less than a 2 minute free bus ride from Haus Wasserbauer, in summer there are numerous activities including mountain biking, 140km of hiking trails, swimming in Mühlbach's heated outdoor pool (less than 200m from Haus Wasserbauer), archery, tennis or just relaxing on the terrace in the sun, the opportunities are endless. Located less than 45 minutes from Salzburg (well worth a day trip when your staying!). Haus Wasserbauer is a picturesque Austrian retreat, allowing you to step away from the stress of modern life.
