This is a 3* hotel that punches well above it's weight.  It's not trendy or big, nor is it lavish or imposing  BUT...  it's very clean  , practical , and has everything that you would want. The location is amazing - 2 minutes to lake side.  the lake is surrounded by hills and mountains. Our room terrace  had views of the hills  to the east  and the lake to the west.  There's a terrace bar  or you can sit out under the olive trees on the front lawn.
There's also a little quite lounge you can use  if you want a little peace out of the way.
The best bit for me was 'Alfredo's' super friendly staff  who all make you feel so much at home and appreciated -  nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are clean and practical. The little lift  is ( 4 people )  seems very robust. Th breakfast  is thoroughly 5 star.
But 'Torri'  is the jewel in the crown.  It's not big  but it is beautiful in every sense. You can walk right  along its lake side passing all the high quality , good value restaurants  and  watching the likes of the   Red breasted Pochards, Goosanders and cormorants. in the waters.
We actually  heard Cuckoos there during  the dawn chorus whilst we were there in June. 
The best thing is that  it's not packed,  like Sirmeone - the small village is charming  and quiet though we were lucky enough to see  and listen to two excellent bands  during our stay there.  There are cafes open at 6.00am for coffee if you fancy an 'early morning'stroll!
We met a German couple who had been holidaying  there for 25 years.  They had a boat moored there  and spent their time sailing around the  towns & villages of the lakeside. I asked them  which one was the best?  They said emphatically -  TORRI - so there you go!
Our  must  town to visit  - (just 30 minutes away by bus)  - Malcesine - very nice indeed, with quality  shops, a lovely harbour, medieval  narrow streets  and a pod ride to the mountains!!! Then you can come back to the serenity of Torri for a seafood platter on lakeside.

A Stunning Place to visit  and a very good  location  to See more of Italy.
