I booked a room at this hotel primarily because of the air conditioning. The AC didn’t work, and I spent three nights in suffocating heat — 29 degrees in the room. I reported the issue, and the next day they brought a fan to my room. When I checked out, all I heard from them was that they were sorry.

This was a pleasant 1 night stay in the center of Garda.
There was confusion as to where we had to check in on arrival as it was at another hotel called the 'Astoria' and we were told that by a guy who worked at the cafe below Hotel Alla Torre.
We checked in Ok and our room very basic but clean, bathroom has a tiny shower that you can just about squeeze in!
Overall the experience in Garda was good and the 1 night in the hotel is passable!

Basic stay in the center of Garda but did the job!

This is hotel is perfectly placed in Garda less than a minutes walk from the lake front and right in the middle of restaurants and shops. The rooms although basic, have air conditioning, tv, en suite with a small but very powerful shower, perhaps lacking a fridge but nothing else. Our room even came with a lake view and like the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were again basic continental and scrambled egg and bacon, but very tasty and plenty of it. The staff very very helpful and pleasant. Our room did overlook the town square and a couple of evenings there was entertainment on, ranging from Argentine Tango night to a brass band from Yorkshire and yes it was a little noisy but we could easily close the windows and escape the noise if we wanted. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
