Very strange hotel for none German speaking people. Menus were only in German until I asked for a change. Hotel has no atmosphere and does not have a convivial bar area. 
Absolutely no entertainment. Even not informed of local events (weekley brass band included, walking distance!)
Hotel is essentially very boring!! Expect residents to go to bed after evening dinner.
TV ìs entirely in German! No facilities in bedrooms, like drink facilities.
Staff knowledge of other languages, very limited. Staff though are helpful and friendly. 
Hotel is in a fantastic location and looks good. 
Food is repetitive.  Fries do not enhance meals, they are cheap and not what a good restaurant should  even consider. 
Rooms looked after well and clean.
Management need to look at what they could lose, if continuing down the same way.

Not in tune with other Nationalities at all

We booked a week through a travel agency to go skiing with our daughters of 3 and 6 years old and we've had a mixed experience.

The management
We booked 2 double communicating rooms (they have such rooms precisely for families like ours). This was confirmed to our travel agency but when we arrived, we received 2 double rooms on the same floor but distant of about 10m. Not exactly what we expected. 
After some discussion and reflection (we left for 30 minutes to get in touch with our travel agency), they finally swapped one of our rooms with another guest to give us 2 rooms next to each other. Still not what we asked but since the hotel seemed to be fully booked, we had to consider this offer good enough.

In this kind of situation, you'd better speak German (I don't) because most of the staff has a really limited knowledge of English. Otherwise, they are nice people.

The restaurant
At breakfast, you'll have a bit of everything: different types of bread, meat, cheese a chef to cook your eggs, fruits, coffee, tea, yogurt, ... Maybe not the largest choice I've ever seen but I can hardly complain about it.

The evening, you get to choose between 3 dishes, one being vegetarian. You start with one of the two daily soups and a buffet of vegetables. You then receive the starters, then the dish of your choice and you can finally go to the cheese and/or dessert buffets. The starters and dishes are or reasonable size so you shouldn't get full with them. If you are on a diet, you'll probably have some difficulties: the vegetables are drenched in dressing and the soup and dishes are far too salty to my taste (this is probably the first time I feel thirsty after drinking a soup).

You also get some snacks around 4 PM. Breakfast in available from 7:30 to 10 AM and supper is from 6 PM. 

The rooms
The rooms are quite spacious compared to what you usually get on a mountain hotel. The room service comes every day to check if your sheets or towels needs changing. The shower is a bit small and is equipped with a seat. There is carpet in the room and the hallway and tiles in the bathroom.

Various
The hotel is located 200 m from the ski lift, which is about the closest you can be in this station. They have a room to store you skis and "shelves" to heat your boots. They have a small playing room for kids which looked completely abandoned  (old CRT TV with a Wii, a small billiard, ...)

All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel with young children but for others, this might be a good choice.

Hotel with up's and down's

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel unfortunately for only one night as part of a Leger coach holiday. From the moment we walked in it was as though we had walked into someone's home. Our room did not disappoint, very clean white sheets and a very comfortable bed. The free wifi was helpful to catch up with emails. We had a welcome hot shower as we didn't arrive till late tea time then were treated to a very nice served to the table meal.
