We stayed at the Auhof to prepare for our Hüttenwanderung. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly and caring host, she gave us a warm welcome. But the best part is the evening dinner in the hotel. Gutbürgerlich, very tasty and high quality food. That all for an amazing price! We definitively will come back.

My partner and I have just spent a week here.  Our hostess (Gabi) is a warm and welcoming lady, and her husband (whose name I failed to discover) is an amazing chef! Our room was simple but clean and it had a wonderful view of mountains from the pretty balcony, which got plenty of afternoon and evening sun.  The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Schruns, a wonderfully pretty town in Voralberg.   The rail and bus connections and services in Schruns mean you don't need a car to visit the fantastic hiking/walking sites like Mondsee and Silvretta, or towns like Feldkirch or Bregenz.  The highlight of our hotel stay were the wonderful 4-course dinners.  Although there was no choice of food and it was served within a limited time-frame, everything we had was great - authentic Austrian food, using the freshest and best ingredients and completely delicious.  We enjoyed our stay so much than we plan to return when we can.

We stayed at the Auhof on our family ski holiday. We received a lovely warm welcome from Gabi and her team and we would definitely consider returning. 

With a young family we didn't make use of the ski bus which conveniently stopped at the hotel. They had a super new boot room facility and wellness centre, both welcome after a day on the mountain.

The only criticism I can find was the poor showers in the bedrooms which otherwise were clean, comfy and warm.

Breakfast each morning was enjoyed by us all and set us up for the day ahead. On returning dinner was sensational with 5 courses each night being enjoyed by even the kids!
