Great chalet in a great location with great food and service... a great week, even with limited snow. There were so many extras and thoughtful touches that made for a relaxing and easy week in Morzine/Avoriaz.

Just got back from our first catered chalet experience and really impressed. The chalet was lovely with amazing views of the town and mountains. The lift service to the slopes was friendly and flexible. Our hosts were all really accommodating and the food was really great. There was an issue with the hot tub for the first few days but Ben (resort manager) and the team went out of their way to make up for this by making our trip extra special. 
Would definitely recommend and consider a return trip. 

Excellent stay in Roc Soleil

Amazing chalet experience! A fully catered chalet was new for us Canadians but I highly recommend it. Stayed with my husband and a collection of strangers that became friends.The service was impecable-they strive to meet your every need. Having access to the shuttle made travelling to and from the mountain and village easy. I can't recall the names of the 'hostesses' and the chef but they were all impressive. The food was prepared and served to perfection. The chef created unique and spectacular gourmet dishes for every meal. I loved the nightly special cocktails with the pre-dinner appetizers. The chalet is new and nicely appointed. The entry foyer is surprisingly small and created a challenge to fit all of us getting ski boots on to head to the van each morning. Overall, a great experience.

Chalet D'espoir

Wow, what a fun week at Chalaet Roc Soleil. Set back from the lovely ski resort of Morzine, offers the perfect location for some quiet relaxation after a hard day’s skiing with on of the best views in Morzine with a fantastic hot tub to enjoy at the end of the day overlooking the slopes and stunning scenery. Yet you are never too far from the action as the gondola is just a few minutes  from your chalet which takes you to Les Plan ski area and après- ski. We were two families holidaying together. Consisting of 4 adults , 4 children and a baby. 

Stephen our chalet host was outstanding in every way as were all the others that we had the pleasure to meet that supported him, such as Sam, Izzy, Hugh & Colin to name a few. The guys at the chalet were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them so they always went above the call of duty for us from nappies and baby wipes for Noah to a trip to the pharmacy for medication.  

The chalet itself was clean, with good sized bedrooms and a warm/living toom with the option of a roaring fire.

The food that Stephen cooked was delicious freshly cooked gourmet food every night, it felt like a cross between high end restaurant with lovely home cooking. One of the best butternut & chickpea curries we had all ever had and to top it off a fabulous afternoon tea spread which was so welcomed after a full day skiing . The kids meals were also on point and they were greatly received each night. The wine was also pretty decent with a good varied choice. We had  such a great report with all the chalet staff and they were so helpful with tips to where was best to ski including good skiing tips ( they all seems to be awesome skiers) to where the best places to eat. They had such a good knowledge of the local area including Avoriaz which we loved skiing at. 
 
The ski run service back and forward from the chalet was such a great bonus. They managed to cook us a full English breakfast and then get us down to the gondolas in time for the kids ski school at 9am. They were even accommodating in taking me slightly later to join the others.  

Also on hand were the management Galia & Charlotte whom were so friendly and helpful and there to sort anything out for us. 

This chalet is perfect for groups or families.  In summary we had a fabulous week and will be certainly spreading the word. We miss all the TG crew already !  Thanks so much for such a memorable holiday

What a great week at Chalet Roc Soleil !

We stayed here for a week as a group of friends and the staff where generally really good - we would definitely return. 5 bathrooms for 14 people is ok. Downstairs 2 twin rooms with one bathroom and one loo recommended! They do rent out by the room too. Easy walk to Pleney or Super Morzine lifts. 
Good food but catered better to self-declared vegans than people who had other food requirements.
