Hotel Bellariva

Riva

We had a wonderful stay here. Well appointed rooms with a balcony  and view. Great location. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Roof deck also has great views.

I made a booking on a reputed app and near my stay I was sent a message on the app by the hotel asking me to click on a link which I did and was charged EUR 493.50. I was then asked again to resubmit again by the official app and the hotel and they had all my information including booking reference number and phone number and I found it suspicious and then immediately contacted both the hotel directly via there  website and also the app and I was informed to block my card and that necessary action will be taken. I then blocked my card and contacted my credit card company. I still went ahead and stayed at the property and paid in full on arrival. When I mentioned that their hotel asked me to pay via the message link I got on booking.com app and not anything external they were unhelpful and knew about how there system was compromised and I was not alone. While the stay itself was not bad at all it seems the official hotel computer was hacked and in this process I have not been helped and out seems they simply wish to brush there hands off the matter. While I understand this can happen to anyone it is surprising that the official hotel messages me to pay which I do. I have been a traveler for over 20 years and stay a 100 plus nights around the world every year I can confidently say nothing like this has ever happened. The amount is small but it pains for me to see that both the app and the hotel are unwilling to help me. Please beware if you leave your credit card details here as it seems there is a flaw in the system of the hotel. I was hoping to get a resolution when I went and stayed but to my surprise no one even bothered to discuss or help. They simply wanted a full payment before checking in which I duly did and would always. But the fact remains that someone got into there system and took all the info and used there official app portal to send messages to unsuspecting customers.  Unacceptable and unethical.

Hotel official system gets hacked and I end up paying a con charge - Beware

We just arrived for our 4th stay at this wonderful resort and they did not disappoint! Walking in to the lobby we were greeted like old friends by the manager and staff! This is a magical place for us and one we cherish! To come to Lake Garda and not stay here is a shame! The accommodations are lovely and very thought out. They selected the perfect room for our family with the granddaughter in mind.

This is a very special place!

The hotel is located in one of the most amazing places we have ever traveled. Cozy, small, clean. Great breakfast, nice people. Free parking just 5 minutes from hotel (very close and they give service of shuttle if somebody doesn't want to go themselves). We took 2 types of rooms. Superior and standard. Superior room was great, 1st floor, with partial view to the lake and especially special cleaner Liuba. Thank you, Liuba :-) ! Standard room extremely small (16 m2 ???)  and most part of room occupied by huge bed. Let's say it was OK for 1 single person. But for couple - no way. Room clean, with all equipment, but anyway - such size of room can't be in 4 stars hotel. In any case, the hotel is a good standard hotel.
