We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bergzeit. Our stay was in august 2021 with 2 children age 5 and 9. The hotel is very family friendly. 
The hotel has a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening there is a 5 course diner with choice between meat, fish or vegetarian. Each meal we had was perfectly prepared and very tasteful. There also was an Italian evening witch was very good.
The hotel itself is cosy, the owners are always around and very friendly. There are a lot activities for adults such as walking, nordic walking, mountain biking, … accompanied by someone of the hotel. 
For the children there is a children’s program with a lot of activities for small children ages up to age 12.
The hotel is located next to a bike path and close to the elevators to go up into the mountains. 
We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going back in 2022.

A family-owned hotel with warm, personal approach. We enjoyed dinner a lot, it was prepared with the finest ingredients. Organic herbs and vegetables cultivated in their own garden. The staff provides a lot of tips (where to go, what to visit) and offers daily activities as well. The hotel is very clean and tidy. We stayed in a family room, that we found to be quite basic for this price. Furniture was a bit outdated. Should the room have been nicer (refurbished) we would have given the hotel 5 out of 5.

The level of detail, the personal touches, just amazing.  I have stayed in many places worldwide and this small family run hotel is amazing.  We were lucky to try two of their rooms.  The loft suite, which was incredible, modern design beautifully furnished and a great separate area for kids.  Our second room was a family room, more traditional Austrian style but very clean and well laid out.  The food is amazing.  Breakfast the owner (who is the chef) makes eggs to order.  Dinner was wonderful, particularly Italian evening and you can have their home made pizza.  The resident cat Simmy meets you are the front door and it could not be more relaxed.  Staff are amazing and super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
