We booked 4 nights at short notice with bookings.com. We booked a family room for me, my husband and our 15 year old son.On arrival we were told by reception they didn't have our booking but the room was still available and after making a couple of phone calls it was confirmed that we could have it.
The room was a grand suite on the corner of the second floor and although quite tired was huge with two bedrooms, a jacuzzi  bath (that didn't work) and great views. Other than a great large room the hotel was very mediocre. The food was average and was a bit of a free for all buffet with huge amounts of young children to plough through to get anywhere near. We decided to eat out on 2 of the 4 nights. It seems that most of the staff although extremely polite are all inexperienced teenagers who don't really know much about hotel hospitality. . Would certainly not rate this hotel a four star but that said it was comfortable , just a bit tired with inexperienced staff and very average food.

After a few years we have returned with pleasure to this hotel. The hotel's staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tourist information and tips for spending time in Lofer and region offered by the owner of the hotel as if we were good friends Accommodation and restaurant very good. Complete cleaning. WI FI free. Parking space provided in front of the hotel. We will come back anytime and we recommend 100%
