Very clean small hotel approx 15-20 mins from the centre of Bardolino. Offers 2 pools for use, both compact but no problems getting a sun bed. In September it was far too cold to swim in. Fairly good breakfast choice, but probably overpriced. We found a small beach cafe along the way with great coffee and croissants to use. We had what was supposed to be one of their better rooms which did have an amazing view. The bathroom was fine, fairly large with a walk in shower with good water pressure. The bedroom and storage area was totally inadequate. Comfortable bed, pillows not that great. Tiny wardrobe space, impossible to hang dresses without them dragging on the floor. No drawers apart from two tiny ones in the bed side unit. We lived out of suitcases stacked on top of each other. There were very limited plug sockets. We had to charge phones/I pad etc by either dangling them from a socket half way up the way up the wall or by the bathroom sink which is not ideal with electrical equipment. We did look into the other room on our floor which I believe was considered a family room and it was so much bigger with a decent sized wardrobe. I actually feel we would have been better off for space in one of the lower grade rooms and we were actually only paying a premium for the view.

Small hotel with small rooms and inadequate storage

This is a great hotel for a quiet stay by Lake Garda. It is easy to get into Bardolino, and it is easy to get around via bus. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly, and try to help you whenever. You can order cappuccino from the pool, and the team will deliver it. The team will also help you with anything they can. The room has everything you need - and fast wifi. The beds are comfortable.

Great place for couples

We recently stayed in a 2 bed room apartment affiliated with the hotel gardenia. On arrival we were welcomed with coffees and given maps and some tips on restaurants by friendly staff. Our room was very clean (thank you to the cleaners) and smelt amazing. Lovely view from the small balcony of the lake. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to central Bardolino but  it is a beautiful flat walk. There is a nice restaurant along from the hotel called l'unico but we didn't enjoy the restaurant across the road. Also less than 10 minutes walk to Cisano where there is a small square of nice restaurants. We used buses a lot so it was very helpful that the stop is only a few minutes walk. Would definitely recommend.
