We have just spent two lovely nights at Hotel Garni. From the minute we walked in the door of this easy to find guesthouse we were made to feel welcomed, comfortable and secure. The hosts were helpful, professional and offered great suggestions. Our twin room with balcony ( great views) was everything we needed. ( lift access) breakfast was plentiful with a great selection. Just a short flat walk to town and all the attractions we wanted to access. We would highly recommended this hotel to anyone travelling to Kitzbuel.

Wonderful couple of days

We stayed in three double rooms, all with balconies, over Christmas week 2021. We were welcomed by Klaus and Bettina Entstrasser, brother and sister, who worked very hard to make our holiday as comfortable and stress free as possible. From advising on ski hire and ski lessons to ordering taxis and sorting out free pre-departure Covid tests, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable with powerful hot showers and plenty of wardrobe space for ski gear. Breakfasts were wonderful with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and a selection of cheeses and cold meats as well as cereals, yoghourts and fruit. Bacon, sausage and boiled or scrambled eggs were prepared by Frau Entstrasser, Klaus and Bettina’s mother who remains involved in the running of this lovely little hotel. The pristine pool and sauna were very welcome after a hard day on the slopes and the boot room was very convenient for storing skis and boots. The ski bus stops right outside the hotel and it’s just a 10 minute ride to the main cable car in the centre of Kitzbuhel.

A wonderful stay over Christmas

Stayed here for 7 nights, which is a bit out of the city center.  We had to plan our hiking/biking activities around buses schedules, since we don’t drive.

To our relief, it was a great place to stay, our windows opened out to the mountain scenery and we were greeted with changing hues from dusk to dawn. This hotel also has great sauna which was utilised almost daily.  

Clean, comfortable and caring staff, we would definitely recommend this, if one drives.

We stayed for 8 days in March booking a ski package directly with the hotel at a fantastic price. When arriving we had a very warm welcome and given good tips on where to ski for the weather the next day.
The room was vey clean and obviously newly refurbished with a new bathroom also. we had a nice balcony that captured the afternoon sun with a table and chairs.
Breakfast offered a fantastic choice of granola , cheeses, meats also hot bacon, sausage, eggs and fresh coffee brought to your table in the bright dining room. A 15-20 min walk in to the town also with a handy carpark as having a car makes skiing far easier and the resort offers lots of free parking with easy access to the ski lifts.
Overall our stay surpassed our expectation and this was largely down to the wonderful owners that made everyone feel so welcome.
