The hotel met our needs.
It’s basic.
Rooms spotless and comfortable.
Staff very helping.
Breakfast was basic, buffet. 
Dinner was ok. We went half board.
Good WiFi.
Storage room for ski gear.
Would return if skiing again in area.

Very noisy bar opposite with loud music and shouting until 2am (kept me awake even with windows shut)! After only a few hours sleep I went for breakfast to find a breakfast room full of tables with dirty cups and dishes. The rather average looking breakfast buffet was almost empty at 9am and the whole experience was rather unappetising! No staff to clear up or keep an eye on breakfast. The owner not bothered by any complaints. Still charged €90 for the night. Absolute joke.

Avoid!

I stayed at the Hotel Post for a week long skiing package holiday with a couple of friends. The hotel is clean and well run and the staff were polite and friendly especially the very helpful receptionist Sabrina who was very pleasant and a real mine of useful information about the hotel and the resort. 
My room was large with a comfortable Austrian twin bed, plenty of storage facilities and a good ensuite.
We stayed half board and the food was good and plentiful,although the breakfast was quite basic and there was only one coffee machine. There is also an alacart restaurant which guests can use at an extra price, which seemed quite popular with local non-residents as was the hotel bar which has a simple but welcoming atmosphere.
There is free access to good well maintained wellness facilities and the hotel has a big well heated boot/ski room in the basement. 
There is a bus stop for the ski bus right outside the rear and the staff will tell you when to be there. Leaving by the front access to the Westendorf runs via the nursery slopes is only an easy two minute walk in ski boots. There is a good ski rental and servicing shop just across the road from the hotel and lift passes can be purchased from a ticket office nearby.
The hotel is right in the town centre and there are plenty of nice shops and restaurants nearby, although the night club across the street attracts a bit of a noisy crowd later at night.

A friendly good quality reasonably priced hotel in a good location in Westendorf

We enjoyed a week's stay at this wonderful hotel. We were a group of 14 on a ski trip and I must say the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. From the moment we arrived to a lovely warm welcome with dinner awaiting us, great attention all week from all the staff at reception, the restaurant and the bar I would highly recommend this hotel. I had a skiing injury and they provided me with muscle cream and a walking stick - I managed to make it to the bar alright, ha. The location is brilliant, owners and staff amazing, rooms are perfect with room service every day, food is most enjoyable for breakfast and dinner. I also used the sauna, steam room etc and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the hotel for everything. If (or when) we return to Westendorf I will certainly be booking here again.
