This is a pleasant hotel linked with La Cle des Champs which houses the restaurant, about 5m away. The rooms are quiet and nicely presented, there isn't a lift so heavy bags have to be carried up to the higher floors. The ski boot room is on the ground floor and is secure. Parking is just outside and the hotel is in a quiet area about 300m from one of the main Val Cenis gondalas'. The restaurant does a really good range of meals albeit with limited choice. We had Pierre Chaude, Raclette and Fondue (chocolate) as well as other good meals. Breakfast is in the Moulin de Marie if you are staying their and is a filling buffet. With the easy parking and access to the main road across the river this is a good base for exploring the whole valley if you have transport. It's about midway between Boneval and Valfrejus

The atmosphere here was instantly welcoming and friendly, we felt very comfortable throughout our week long stay. The hotel is quiet, bring situated off the main road, but shops are only a ten minute walk away if needed. Our room was spacious, comfortable and warm with a kettle to make hot drinks, very nice after a day out in the snow. The restaurant provided delicious food and catered for vegetarians, every night a different dish was offered. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed here in July with a group of other friends. We spent a week here exploring the region with our bikes. Rene made our stay in Val Cenis even more memorable. The rooms were very comfortable with nice views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was a great start to the day, with everything you would want. Our dinners were a real highlight. Each night we enjoyed something traditional from the region, we even had raclette. A huge half wheel of cheese that melt onto your food.It was pretty good. I highly recommend staying here.

We stopped here rather early in the day because we were on bicycles and too tired to make it over the Col D'Iseran. The woman who greeted us was very kind and let us take our room early. The room was very nice. Great bed, nice and spacious with a little balcony. Breakfast was great. We also had dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
