We stayed here several years ago while touring around parts of Europe.  After I completed a teacher exchange in Munich, my husband and son flew over to join me so we could travel together before flying back to the US.  I don't like to fly, so I wanted to visit as many places as possible while overseas.  It was wonderful!!!  We took the train into Ruette and walked to the B&B...it was a bit of a walk.  Our rooms were clean, comfortable and the hospitality was fantastic.  We only stayed a few days while visiting nearby castles, etc, but would definitely return on our next trip.  We didn't travel in July 2019, but that's the farthest option available.  Pictures online look just like it did when we were there.  One of the highlights of our trip.

Great side trip while touring Europe

We stayed here specifically to hike the surrounding mountains.

Very clean room with a great view of the valley and mountains.

Breakfast is a buffet and in my opinion above average with choice of eggs (boiled, fried, etc) fruits, cereals, meats, breads and more. All served by a very friendly and informative host.

Hiking access is from the front door. Roter Stein is across the road and it's a short drive to the amazing Höllentalklamm gorge hike.

I can highly recommend this property because it's ideally situated to the surrounding mountains and the host makes the stay one to remember. 

P. S. Dogs are also welcome.

+Location is great! Close to so many attractions and great activities.
Beautiful views from the balcony and the breakfast room.
Breakfast is simple but very tasty....especially the fresh bread and the amazing honey..
Staff was also great; very approachable and welcoming.

-There was no amenities in the bathroom; we had to buy everything from soap to shampoo. A kettle could be nice to have in the room.
