Thank you to everyone at Hotel Le Monal for making our stay truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were met with constant smiles and a warmth that felt genuine and effortless. This is hospitality at its very best.

The location is ideal, tucked away in a quiet, sleepy town just five minutes from the ski station. Peaceful without being isolated, the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere that draws in a perfect mix of locals and those lucky enough to have discovered this hidden gem.

The food was outstanding from start to finish. Whether it was classic French dishes cooked to perfection or pizzas that rival the very best outside of Italy, every meal was spot on. It’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing in the kitchen.

A special thank you to Nataniell, our waiter who quickly became a friend. Time and again, he went above and beyond, always making us laugh and sharing his French culture with such generosity. He truly added something extra to our stay. Merci, Nate.

Our dishes are prepared with care and we usually receive very positive feedback, which makes your comments particularly concerning. We regret that the lasagna was too dry and that the côte de bœuf was not cooked as requested — this is clearly not the standard we aim to provide.

Totally overpriced food, Lasagna was so dry it was inedible, cote de beef not cooked as is should be, very disappointing

Terrible food and very very expensive,

Le Monal is a beautifully decorated hotel located in a charming village near the Sainte-Foy resort. I was very pleased with my cosy single room and a private bathroom. Even though my room was based at the back of the hotel, I had a beautiful view from my window.
I really enjoyed the stylish alpine decor as well as the lovely atmosphere created by the helpful and friendly staff, lively locals, the fireplace, food and drinks on the terrace complemented with a good choice of music.
Thank you for making my stay so comfortable and my first ever solo skiing holiday so memorable! I truly appreciate it!
