Monte Rosa Boutique Hotel

Zermatt

We recently stayed at the Hotel Monte Rosa in Zermatt, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. we loved this hotel.

From the charming train station pickup to our check-in with Gaia at reception, everything was exceptional. Gaia is truly an asset to your property; she was cheerful, helpful, kind, and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. 
The breakfast was delightful and the presentation exceptional.

Our room was clean and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and I will definitely return to the Hotel Monte Rosa in the future.

Best hotel

We learned about the hotel while watching a documentation about Edward Whymper and the first ever ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865. He then stayed in the Monte Rosa Hotel for several times and that's why we wanted to stay there as well since we're very interested in history, historic and beautiful places and the romance and charm of the 19th century. Absolutely beautiful building full of old mountain magic.

Beautiful charming historic Hotel of the 19th century.

The staff was lovely, the view from the balcony was fabulous, the suite was very comfortable. We are very glad that we stayed at  Monte Rosa.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Monte Rosa. It is an easy walk from the train station.   The hotel staff was very helpful and the charcuterie was great. We enjoyed sitting in front of hotel for drinks and appetizers after long travel day.

Great place to stay in Zermatt

Friendly staff, clean, and very well-located.  Great views of the Matterhorn!  They even have an electric vehicle to transport you and your luggage from the train station if you wish.  Would definitely recommend!
