We visited here as a party of 8 recently for our first skiing experience.
First off for first impressions from Scott picking us up from the airport with water and sweets, this really was a great start to our holiday so thank you!

The chalet- The upstairs is great and decorated really nicely, unfortunately the downstairs is very cramped (our room was particularly small) and you can hear absolutely everything from the other bedrooms and also upstairs (due to it being open plan).
The showers were also very weak and took ages to get warm.
The hot tub was fantastic! 

The food and drink-
The food was all lovely and the drink choices were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the canapé’s. Improvements would be to ask everybody their preferences in how their meat is cooked as a few of us left food as it wasn’t well done enough. We were also rarely asked if we wanted extra, even when there were leftovers!
The cake each day was delicious but left out from the night before unwrapped- a cake box would save alot of dry ness here.

Location- the location was great and the free lift service was great too. 

Overall we had a great week but wouldn’t stay in this chalet again due to the above.

Third time with Alpine Escapes in La Tania, won't be the last.  Chalet Sophie this time and same exceptional standard.  Bethan and Glen doubled up as chefs/hosts and provided absolutely excellent food every time (and Gluten-free for one of our party). 

Everything about the experience is spot-on, from the arrangements made in advance and communication around logistics through to the welcome and responsiveness when there (the retrieving of a mobile phone from the snow-covered side of the hot tub in a matter of hours merits a mention).

Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they continue to provide a 5-star service and experience.

5-star experience again

We travelled to La Tania on a friends/family ski trip in March 2024. There were 6 adults and 4 under 3s. We stayed in Chalet Herrison with Apline Escapes and it was nothing less than perfect. 

The host and the chef couldn't have been more accommodating. Travelling with toddlers can be chaotic but I really felt like we had had an actual holiday thanks to Sam and Danny. 

The chalet itself was immaculate. The bedrooms were a very reasonable size even with travel cots in them. The open plan living space made it so easy for us to all spend time together and the hot tub with its amazing view was the icing on the cake.

The food was outstanding, each meal was cooked to perfection. Even the kids meals were of such a high standard.

The resort driver service was so useful and very efficient, made it far less stressful than leggings skis and toddlers around.

Not part of a review of the company but we use the La Tania crèche by the La Tania lift for childcare which was also outstanding and would recommend.

Great chalet, perfect host and chef!

A group of chalets in La Tania. I visited Chalet Sophie for skiing with a group of friends. 
The chalet was clean & well presented. The bedrooms were rather small - I was happy I wasn’t sharing & my en-suite was difficult to access due to the door & sink position. 
Half board catering and the food was absolutely exceptional . Glen & Bethan both highly experienced chefs and presented stunning food & complimentary wines to tickled the pallet. 
A fleet of friendly drivers & clean mini vans to shuttle us to ski lifts restaurants or shops.  I had an injury and was well looked after & advised. Highly recommend this company.

Ski week with friends in Private Chalet

Stayed in Chalet Herisson with Alpine Escape in 2023. Our hosts were incredibly skilled, friendly and welcoming and looked after us so well.  Alpine Escape really do go the extra mile - when our car didn't start after a week of very cold weather and ended up going down the mountain on the back of a recovery truck, they let us stay in the warmth of our chalet far beyond check out and even gave us a lift to Moutiers to pick up the vehicle once it was fixed. 10/10 - would use them again!
