Fantastic location right in the mountains - walked into room with a beautiful smell of real wood and the view was outstanding (see photo in review). Room had all the facilities needed included extra bunk beds, toiletries in bathroom, plenty of plug sockets, blinds and curtains on windows, comfy beds etc. Food in restaurant in the evening was wonderful - particularly recommend both the garlic and the cheese soup!! Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold options. Service was relaxed and friendly. Would stay here again!! Yes there was no air-con but I knew that when I booked and we just had the windows wide open all night and as the area is so quiet there was no issue with sleep!

Spent Christmas at this hotel on a coach trip.

Bit out of the way but wonderful views. 

Hotel clean, food good, service very good (helpful, friendly) even prices very good value (hope they were not lowered just for us -i doubt it).

Would recommend this hotel/pension for quiet out of the way holiday/break.

The hotel has a wonderful location, in a quiet place. Astonishing view to mountains. Very friendly staff (small family hotel). Reasonable prices. Rich breakfast. The dinner is served for charge, but the prices are acceptable one. You don't need to look for another restaurant in the area.

TV channels only in german. Small bathroom.

Location just outside the city of Werfenweng. 
A quit spot with a large parking area and a great terras to enjoy the good food.

The rooms are nice, clean and large and from our room we had a great view on the mountains.

Perfect spot to stay for one or more nights.

Great place to stay

Good solid cooking. Reasonable pricing. Great personal service. Just the thing for a family and friends skiing holiday. Werfenweng is a great little ski resort with lots to do (with the so-called SAMO card you also get plenty of freebies like free cross-country ski loan etc). The snow wasn't too plentiful when we were there but thanks to snow cannons it was still fun.
