The picturesque village of Heiligenblut is set amongst beautiful scenery at the foot of Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain. It is a quaint, quiet town with small family-run hotels and restaurants. The ski area is well-suited to intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. The majority of the groomed pistes are either red or blue graded and there is extensive off-piste terrain to explore. Heiligenblut remains relatively unexplored by British tourists, therefore making it the ideal holiday destination for those looking for a traditional, quiet village with superb skiing.
