Welcome to Aussois Ski Resort
Aussois is a family-friendly, uncrowded and sun-kissed ski resort that offers a wide variety of skiing within its 55 km of pistes. Although the number of black-rated pistes are limited, advanced skiers will love the varied freeride options on the Eastern side of the resort. All 1250m of Aussois’ vertical can be skied on green, blue, red and black runs making it an ideal spot for families or groups with varying abilities. Just remember to decide which bar to meet at when you get to the bottom! Situated at the foot of the Vanoise National park, Aussois boasts amazing scenery, a traditional Alps feel and is steeped in local history. Keep an eye out for the forts of Esseillon which will transport your mind back to a time before chairlifts and gondolas. You can even pop in for some lunch at the Fort Marie-Christine or enjoy some educational fun on Fort Victor-Emmanuel’s games course. An efficient lift system, a good range of non-skiing activities and plenty of ski-in ski-out accommodation options makes Aussois a perfect destination for families looking for a ski holiday that has more to offer than just the skiing.
