Best time to ski in Aspen Snowmass

For the best deals, head to Aspen Snowmass at the beginning of the season while the snowpack is still building. Or splash out and treat the family to a special Christmas with all the trimmings in December. January is when the resort's 762 centimetres of annual snowfall really starts to show up, but with lofty altitudes up to 3800 metres, you can expect the lifts to stay open well into April.
