Don’t forget your sunnies! Breckenridge is blessed with over 300 sunny days a year. Bluebird days galore! There’s a serious amount of snow, too - reaching a lofty 3,915 metres, over 762 centimetres of the white stuff falls across 11 km² of snowy playground each season. Bring it on! You can ski here from November until April but aim for a ski trip between January and March for the best powder. Breckenridge’s old-age charm is the perfect backdrop for a magical Christmas. Or, if you want to enjoy warmer temperatures, Spring starts to bloom in late March or early April.

If all that action on the mountain has left you parched, stop at one of the many mountainside bars for chilled beers and cocktails overlooking stunning snowy ridgelines. This is the life! Back on Breckenrige’s Main Street, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported onto the set of a Wild Western film. Swing-door saloons welcome you in for a locally brewed beer, and all-American diners serve up juicy ribs and burgers. Ready to party? Fill your ski boots!
