Park Piolets Mountain Hotel & Spa

Soldeu

It has been our favourite hotel over the last 7 years. It still has high standards but these year we felt that the overall quality has downgraded a bit. Hope that the team can bring it back up.

A lovely place to stay in Soldeu

I’ll start with the restaurant buffet as the star of the show.
The breakfast choices and variety were 100% in every way. I had an omelette every morning and it was delicious.
Dinner was equally tasty and the range of 1st class dishes were great.
Our room was comfortable and extremely well looked after by the house keeping staff. We had a lovely balcony and view where we’d relax after dinner with a glass of wine when our Granddaughter had gone to bed.
Transfers from the garage to the gondola station in the mornings were efficient and enjoyable.
The kids club is amazing and the spa also fantastic.
We really had a great week.

There was only one slight niggle which was the cost and inconsistent measures of wine in the bar.
There is no method of measuring a serving of wine.
So the waiter brings a glass and the bottle and pours a very small measure of wine.
The Chardonnay at €13.50 a glass could measure anywhere between very small and small.
So I’d say avoid wine by the glass and but a bottle that you can also take to the restaurant or back to your room.

A truly fabulous experience

Service top, amazing environment. Tranfer to this pists always available, fast and comfortable. Staff very dedicated and always looking for solutions.
