Booked with Sunweb many times before but this is the first, and last, time staying in a hotel run by them.
On arrival the staff were friendly but lack of communication as to service available and times. 

On entering our room it was very basic with the beds looking like they were in need of condemning to the history books. Only one bed side table with the other side having just a bed side lamp on the floor. One plug socket was hanging off the wall. The bathroom had black mould all around the ceiling and locked most uninviting. Reported plug and lack of bed side table to reception and the plug was duly fixed only the break after first use. Third day into our stay a bed side table materialised out side our room door. 

The breakfast is a continental buffet with one chose of cereal, mussily. A selection of meats, sliced cheese, boiled eggs, a limited selection of pastries with a sign informing only one per customer please, baguettes, selection of three conceivers, a few yogurts, tea, coffee and orange or apple juice. 

The all inclusive gives you the opportunity to make a roll to take away with you but means that the baguettes can run out fast. 

Dinner is a three course affair with the starter consisting of a watery soup, a chose or meat or vegetarian main, that looks like it is not prepared on site and is inevitably served cold. And a desert. 

After noon tea is served at 5pm which consist of one chose per day of a deep fried platter of chicken nuggets, onion rings or chicken wings. The Sunweb website advertises that after a day on the slopes you can came back to a chose of mulled wine or a hot chocolate but when these were requested the staff shrugged and informed us they were not on offer. The games room has a good selection of have full games, a pool table with no chalk or black ball and a darts board with no darts. If you happen to be back at in the hotel during the afternoon there are no staff about until 4pm and for some reason toilet roll is on a very tight rationing.

Disappointing, tired, in need of investment in decor and a big rethinking of the menu on offer.

Staff at hotel were helpful and friendly.
Food: Not what you would expect as "all inclusive", typical continental breakfast, but a sign saying "1 per person" by the pastries is not great. Limited evening meals, Soup every night(always watery), nothing hearty.
Mains were meat option or vegetarian option, nothing appeared to be cooked on site, all served by the staff.
Food ok but was at the "value" end.
Again, "all inclusive" suggests all meals are covered, so we were quite surprised to find that the Thursday Racelette night cost 18 euros each... minimal communication on this other than a small poster on the front door.
Chatel as a ski venue: The area is not the best, poorly signed ski area and we lost approx and hour a day on buses to get us around the ski area in general, including Avoriaz to Morzine.
The Sunweb ski deal is OK, but was a logistical nightmare if more than 4 people trying to take skis back.
The hotel rooms were on the small side, particularly the bathroom and toilet, we were lucky that 2 of us were in a 4 berth room, this gave us space for our bags.
The hotel bar and communal area was not big enough for all the guests. Lots of games in the games area, although the pool table whilst free had no chalk or "black ball".
The darts board had no darts.
Whilst it appears this has been a negative review, the staff saved it for us.
Had they not have been as good it would probably be a 1 as a score.
As they say, you get what you pay for!

We were in this hotel with our 3 boys for 6 days with Sunweb. Very nice hotel. Lovely crew and good location. The hotel is simple, but everything is there for a nice ski holiday. Good price quality balans. Because we had all inclusive, we had various diners here. The food was good, especially the variation. The kids also loves it
