We have been staying in Alpbach of and on for the past three weeks
As we are close,have visited the bar/restaurant on quite a few occasions
Though the area is very quite we have always had a nice welcome from the staff .
There were two young ladies who above all were a delight.One was called Lucia who had just starting work there,couldn’t get the name of the other one.They were always cheerful and helpful which is missing in a lot of staff these days.Will miss them serving a beer
The food was very good,my wife enjoyed the Prawn/Pasta dish so much ,that had it three times.The food was always good,.It was a shame that more than often than not we were the only ones eating.But as I have already said the area was very quite,with not to many tourists.You have to remember this is a Skiing resort
If you are ever in area can reccommend eating there and getting served by to charming ladies

My wife and I were here two nights in mid September. It was very quiet in the hotel as it was off season. But the weather was fine and this hotel is fantastic!
The hotel is built in the classic Austrian style as are all the buildings in the area.
The hotel was immaculate.
We ended up with a huge room, as I made a mistake in booking, but the price was still reasonable. Better yet, we did the half board, which meant breakfast and supper were included. Both meals were great, though the breakfast buffet was our favorite.
We thought it was the best buffet we had in Europe!
Some staff do not know much English but all are very friendly and helpful.
The seenland card is very helpful in the area and results in more savings. It is given to you free by the hotel when you stay there.
The valley and the surrounding mountains in this area are lovely, and there is great hiking and mountain biking all around. I just do not know why more people do not visit this undiscovered jewel of an area.

Wonderful place in a beautiful valley

Pleasant hotel at a good price in Inneralpbach which is a few minutes drive from alpbach village. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Lovely view of the mountains from room 104. Excellent breakfast. Downsides for us - no facility to make hot drinks in the room. No English speaking tv channels and smoking is allowed in the communal lounge which makes the corridors smell a little smoky. We ate in the restaurant on the first night but not really impressed with the food so ate elsewhere for the rest of the week. Friendly, helpful staff.

Week long alpine holiday

We have stayed at this hotel on various occasions over the past 10 years.  The hotel is a friendly family run business with great staff.  The restaurant is excellent and the cuisine first class.  Rooms are light and airy with their own balcony.  Our room on this occasion we thought was now a little tired and could do with a makeover.  There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms which is disappointing given that many hotels of this standard now provide.  The only negative comment is that free parking at the hotel is limited to around 10 cars.  There is ample parking opposite but travellers should be aware that the Gemeinde has instigated a 3 EUR per day ticket charge.  This covers parking from 0600 - 1800.  The parking attendant is very diligent and we saw numerous cars receiving parking tickets each day!! You therefore need to get up early to place a daily ticket to avoid a fine.  There is no way you are able to buy a 24 hour ticket

We visiting this hotel through many years for skiing holidays. Through the price you pay you get very comfortable hotel. Buffet is not bad. Staff attentive and very friendly. Spa zone in your disposal.  Small rooms but with own balcony. Would be good if the cleaners would be more attentive and responsable to those work. In general good impression.
