Great stay in Mayrhofen at this beautiful B&B.
From check in to check out everything was perfect.
Great size rooms with everything you need.
Great view from the large window and a good size balcony, comfortable beds and underfloor heating in the bathrooms with a good size walk in shower.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice from bacon, boiled eggs, cereals and yoghurts.
Staff are lovely and everywhere was so clean and welcoming.
At the end of a busy day on the slopes you can relax in Mikey’s bar with live sport on the tv screens.
You can get the ski bus right outside or you can walk up through the village to the gondola and ticket machines.
I would definitely stay here again when we are next in Mayrhofen.

My daughter and I spent a week in January.  The hotel was clean, tidy, modern, friendly with excellent rooms.  The location is good as it's close to 2 ski bus stops and the train station.
We specifically asked for a room with multiple beds, which isn't always the case with an Austrian Twin, to accommodate our circumstances.
Unlike other establishments we have visited Der Siegler respected the 'Do not disturb' request and had the forethought to provide extra towels and toilet rolls but left them outside the room.
The host was friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
We would stay there again.
We were on the 1st floor above the bar but we never heard any noise (other than people returning to their room, which is to be expected).

Great accommodation and close to 2 ski bus stops and the train station.

Loved this location and hotel.
Staff are so friendly and welcoming. 
We had large rooms with balcony. It was a above the sports bar but this was fine as it stopped at night,
I believe the vibe is very different to when it is ski season but we had a great time.
Very clean, good breakfast, big bed!

This is the best ski hotel we've ever stayed in.
The rooms are really stylish, comfortable and clean. They have a real boutique feeling about them. Great decor, large bed, a sofa, excellent wardrobe space and a huge TV. The bathroom is wonderful too and the shower is great. The details in the decoration throughout the hotel is great, combining presentation of the former old building with really stylish modern details. We would have been happy to have stayed in this hotel for any holiday, but for a ski holiday, where we tend to have a “bed and shower” mentality, it was exceptional.
The rooms were kept very clean, as was the entire hotel. 
The ski and boot room is also the best we’ve seen with every room having its own specific storage area so no digging your skis out from behind others.
The breakfast was very good. We tended to go in the last 30 mins but it never felt “picked over” and would freshly boil more eggs if there were none left. The kitchen also made us a packed lunch for the journey home and, for once, we ate it all, especially appreciating the donuts after an early start.
On the ground floor of the hotel is Mike’s Sports Bar, Mike being the owner of the hotel. Despite being very popular, no noise travelled up to our rooms. In fact, later in the evening, the door between the bar and hotel was locked, which meant we had to walk outside to get to our rooms, but also protected us even more from bar noise.
The bar showed lots of sport and one evening, when there were lots of possible Premiership games to choose from, Mike had the different rooms of the bar labelled with which match was being shown. On another evening, we requested the darts and Mike put it on for us. Very accommodating. The bar staff were very chatty and welcoming and, like the rest of the hotel, it was kept very clean, including the toilets.
Our evening meals weren’t taken in the hotel, but in a neighbouring hotel on the other side of the road. The food was of an exceptionally high quality, which added to our love of our stay at our hotel. On our first evening, we arrived about 45 mins after the fellow hotel’s dining room closed, but Mike phoned them and arranged for us to go for dinner, as long as we went immediately. He even delayed the normal check in procedure so we could go to dinner. Again, very accommodating.
The location of the hotel is also perfect. The ski bus to the Mayrhofen gondolas is outside the hotel door. It is also under a 10 minute walk to both the free coach to the Hintertux Glacier and the free train along the valley to the Kaltenbach area. It was also about 5 mins to the main street.
We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it. It is an excellent choice.



The best hotel we've ever stayed in for a ski holiday

Had a great stay at Der Siegler when skiiing. Transfer was early dropping us off. Helped us store our bags and asked us to come back at 2 or have a drink in the bar so the owner could check us in and say hi.
Was back a bit early but checked in with no issue.

The room was great. Modern, plenty of space and storage for ski gear.
Big incredibly comfy bed and very quiet. Huge TV and sofa a bonus. Big balcony with view of the mountains
Shower was lovely and hot.
It's about a ten min walk to the Gondola with restaurants/pubs on the way and a shop a few mins and walk. Ski bus stops immediately outside and seemed to be every 5 mins when we were there.

Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice, nice and fresh, cooking the hot bits as people were there meant they were always hot.

The bar was an added bonus. Nice and lively and showing any sport you can imagine. Pretty reasonable prices for a beer too. We couldn't hear it from our room but we were on top floor.

Staff from start to finish it were friendly and helpful.
As we were leaving very early we asked Mike what to do re. Checkout the following day. He offered a packed lunch to take with us, putting much more than expected in there which we was a lovely touch.

Can't thank Mike and his team enough for a great stay.  Mike seemed to be in hand from breakfast to the bar in the evening to make sure all goes running well.

The Siegeler, one of the oldest hotels in Mayrhofen, presents itself in a completely new dress. Young, trendy and hip - already the architecture catches the eye. Past the cosy garden with a spacious terrace and a table tennis table, you pass the reception area into the stylishly furnished lounge. The heart of our newly renovated hotel are the comfortable superior rooms with shower, WC, telephone, hairdryer, shower gel, seating area, fridge, safe, satellite TV (120 channels in all languages) and panoramic balcony.
