Disappointing Stay – Would Not Return

I had high expectations for Hotel Christoph in Ellmau, but unfortunately, my stay was a huge disappointment.

Rooms & Comfort

The bed was incredibly hard, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. To make things worse, the linen was rough and uncomfortable—far from the cozy experience I was hoping for.

Staff & Service

The staff were rude and unhelpful, which really set a negative tone for the whole stay. Hospitality should be a priority in a hotel, but I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest.

Atmosphere & Experience

Whether in the hotel or exploring nearby, the experience was boring and uninspiring. There was nothing particularly enjoyable about the stay, and the hotel did little to create a welcoming or engaging environment.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Christoph. Between the uncomfortable rooms, unpleasant staff, and lack of atmosphere, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. There are far better options in Ellmau.

Ellmau Hotel Christoff

This hotel is very good and I do not think you could ask for more. We stayed in one of the 70m2 2 bedroom suites which was nicely finished and had a great balcony. Dinner  was excellent with the chance to sit inside or out on the terrace. Choice of  food was as good as it gets. Outdoor pool  although cold was really nice and in the height of  summer  was a welcome relief  for the heat.  I could not fault this hotel whatsoever. Kid splay area (indoor) over 2 floors was well built and kept the kids entertained
